New holiday merch collection, Halloween Ghost Chateau, coming soon to Pokémon Centers in Japan

The Pokémon Company has announced the Halloween merch collection for 2025, featuring Pikachu, Cyndaquil, and more Pokémon in their cutesy Halloween costumes. This year’s theme, “Halloween Ghost Chateau,” includes plushes, homegoods, and apparel with, of course, Ghost-type theming. The new collection will arrive at Pokémon Centers across Japan on September 13th, and to the Pokémon Center Online on September 11th. Unusually, the Pokémon Centers for the US, UK, and Canada beat Japanese Pokémon Centers to the punch for this holiday, debuting their Pokéween 2025 collection in late August.

The collection starts with plenty of plushes, including Pikachu and Cyndaquil in their Halloween costumes for ¥3,300 ($22.24 USD) each, while Pikachu & Driffloon, Cyndaquil, Teddiursa, and Noibat feature as plush keychains for between ¥2,090 and ¥2,750 ($14.21 and $18.70 USD) each. A wall pocket display for the plushes with Ghost Chateau theming will be available for ¥5,500 ($37.40 USD).

As for homegoods, art of the Ghost Chateau features on a melamine tray for ¥1,870 ($12.71 USD) and on a mug for ¥2,640 ($17.95 USD). A mini bowl with Teddiursa perched on the edge will retail for ¥2,750 ($18.70 USD), and a ruffly hand towel will be ¥1,320 ($8.98 USD). Homegoods continue with a light-up figure of Cyndaquil and Hisuian Typhlosion for ¥5,500 ($37.40 USD) and Pumpkaboo string lights for ¥4,400 ($29.92 USD). Galarian Corsola, sans its ghostly branches, features as a paperweight for ¥2,320 ($15.71 USD). A makeup case retails for ¥2,640 ($17.95 USD), a set of six magnets will retail for ¥770 ($5.24 USD), and a blanket with a Banette-faced pouch will be available for ¥3,300 ($22.24 USD).

The collection also includes some apparel and accessories, starting with Ghost Chateau-print pajama sets in adult sizes for ¥8,690 ($59.09 USD). A crossbody bag with Banette and Drifloon’s faces as jack-o-lanterns will retail for ¥2.970 ($20.19 USD), and a plush Noibat headband will be ¥2,200 ($14.96 USD). The Halloween Ghost Chateau collection rounds out with some stationery, like file folders for ¥400 ($2.99 USD) each, a set of stickers for ¥880 ($5.98 USD), and a spiral notebook for ¥1,320 ($8.98 USD). Finally, a commemorative tin filled with candy will be available for ¥1,430 ($9.72 USD).

The plushes and plush keychains will be available via Amazon Japan in limited quantities beginning September 20th, with preorders opening September 13th.
