New legendary Pokémon announced for Pokémon UNITE's 5th Anniversary — Yveltal, Palkia, Reshiram, and Solgaleo join the fray throughout July and August

Four new Legendary Pokémon have been announced to join the fray in Pokémon UNITE — Yveltal, Palkia, Reshiram, and Solgaleo will debut July 3rd, July 17th, August 7th, and August 21st, respectively. They will be introduced as part of the game's 5th Anniversary celebrations, which will be starting from July 21st, with their addition bringing the total number of playable Pokémon to 94 (counting Mewtwo's Unite Licenses separately).

Yveltal and Resiram are Attackers, while Palkia and Solgaleo are All-Rounders. Players will be able to obtain their Unite Licenses through events held alongside their debuts.

Additional events held during the Anniversary celebrations will allow players to obtain various rewards such as Holowear, License Points, License Art, Selection Box, and more! These events will be available from July 1st to August 31st.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account has also revealed that a completely original live-action short drama will be produced in celebration of the 5th Anniversary of Pokémon UNITE. Details on the intriguing cast, release timing, and the full story, along with all further updates, will be revealed sequentially on the official social media accounts.
