She only caught 7 Pokemon in her run.

The ones she befriended were Swablu and Manaphy, and that's about it.

will may return for a few episodes with new pokemon she catch?

We don't know, she might not even appear at all.

Uh...:
Torchic/Combusken/Blazikein (Starter)
Skitty
Bulbasaur
Eevee
Squirtle
Wurmple/Silcoon/Beutifly
Munchlax

Befriended: Manaphy and Swablu.

i found out may Temporary uesd someone pokemon in "Pasta La Vista"

Yes, but it was a filler episode, so it wasn't a major thing. (Just so you know, she used Hitmonlee)

She used Hitmonchan, Ash used Hitmonlee.

She was also kicking Ash's ass for the majority of that battle.

I doubt about that. Unlike Misty, who even already were mentioned in DP, the writers try really hard we forget about May. It is really shame though. May were much bigger (and more interesting IMO) character then Misty, but now, unlike Misty, May is treated like she never exists:mad::disgust:

The reason they don't mention her is simply because they had to make sure people moved on to Dawn. May was arguably at the peak of her popularity in Battle Frontier, there was tons of excitement in the fandom as we went through that arc regarding the character. However the writers needed to make sure Dawn was a success, or else she would backfire. Hence why Dawn got an ending theme right off the bat and so much early promotion.

When you replace a girly girl coordinator with another girly girl coordinator who is going to do exactly the same thing we watched May do for 4 years, obviously they want people to move on to the new girl instead of thinking the old one.

It seems to me the writers regret bringing Misty up too much back in early AG, so they don't want to make the same mistake this time. It gave people the wrong impression that Misty was still going to be a major character, whereas as we all know now, we actually see hardly anything of her anymore...so since the writers knew we wouldn't be seeing May for awhile its simply easier not to bring her up.

Of course, the fact that we had several hoso specials back during AG to feature old characters and we don't have the same thing now doesn't help matters. :p

And this is the main problem I still have with this switch. Instead of using character they developed for 4 years, they made a whole new character to do what? EXACTLY the same. Some of you may remember how I ranted about Dawn when DP started. Now, I must admit I like her, but still don't undersand the logic behind this. And I swear if they will do the same thing with Dawn and switch her with yet another female coordinator, I'll definitely stop watching Pokémon anime.

Yeah, I don't want the 5th gen girl to be a coordinator either. We've seen so many Contests in the series now that they don't feel as special anymore, but more importantly they're going to run out of ideas for them by the end of Sinnoh. Already Dawn's rivals seem to be getting a lot of hate from the fandom, so I don't know how far they can stretch those characters.

We watched May do 15 Contests in her run, will Dawn reach the same number?

They wanted to have a DP character in the DP anime. It makes perfect sense to me. Keeping a RSE character makes no sense at all.
