New merch collection featuring Pokémon that can turn invisible coming soon to Pokémon Centers in Japan

The Pokémon Company has announced a new merchandise line with a unique theme: Pokémon that can become invisible. The “Invisible to Me” collection features Pokémon that, through appearances in the anime or games, or through their Pokédex entries, are implied to be able to turn invisible. Vaporeon, for example, has Pokédex entries stating it can melt into water, while Kecleon appears as an unseeable obstacle in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire and their remakes. The new collection will arrive at Pokémon Centers across Japan beginning September 20th, and at the Pokémon Center Online September 18th.

The collection starts with a variety of translucent figures, which include Kecleon, Vaporeon, Latias, Mew, Dragapult, and Duskull, each for ¥4,400 ($29.80 USD). A Vaporeon ice tray will be available for ¥2,970 ($20.11 USD), and a Vaporeon tumbler will be ¥2,640 ($17.88 USD). To finish out the home goods, two sets of three wall stickers with clear edges will be ¥880 ($5.96 USD) each.

There are some apparel and accessories options in this drop, including a Latias t-shirt and a Dragapult t-shirt with a clear pocket, both in adult sizes for ¥4,400 ($29.80 USD) each. A tote bag with an outer clear layer and an inner Mew art layer will be ¥3,850 ($26.07 USD), a crossbody pouch featuring Latias will be ¥1,760 ($11.92 USD), and a pouch featuring Dragapult will be ¥1,980 ($1,341 USD). A smartphone shoulder strap with Mew stickers will retail for ¥3,300 ($22.35 USD), and a keychain mirror with an appearing Latias pattern will retail for ¥2,200 ($14.90 USD).

As usual, there’s lots of stationery coming with this collection, starting with a set of six photocards for ¥880 ($5.96 USD), a Duskull spiral notebook with a pull-out tab for ¥1,210 ($8.19 USD), and a set of six transparent sticky notes, also for ¥880 ($5.96 USD). Two pens featuring Mew or Vaporeon will retail for ¥495 ($3.35 USD) each, and a file folder with a disappearing Dragapult and Mew will retail for ¥440 ($2.98 USD). Six different acrylic keychains in blind bags round out the collection for ¥770 ($5.21 USD) each.
