Pokémon 30th anniversary box art merch
The Pokémon Company has released lots of merch in celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary this year, and even more is debuting June 18th at the Pokémon Center Online. The new merch collection includes t-shirts, keychains, magnets, and more featuring the box art of each version of every mainline Pokémon game. The Pokémon Center Online ships only within Japan, and the collection features each game’s box art as it appeared in Japan.

The collection starts with 20 t-shirts featuring box art Legendaries (or scenic art in the case of the Legends games). Each t-shirt comes in a zipper pouch, where the zipper pull is shaped like the console the game released for. T-shirts come only in adults’ medium or large, and retail for ¥3,960 ($24.71 USD) each. A hat and a satchel bag each retail for ¥2,970 ($18.53 USD). Both feature printed details of years Pokémon games were released, and both are designed to display some of the many pins available in this collection.

A framed collection of all 39 pins will be available for ¥30,000 ($187.22 USD).

Box art keychains, which all come with life-sized charms of the game cartridge attached, are available in blind bags based on release year. There are three versions of the keychain blind bags; one includes games released from 1996 to 2002, the next contains games released from 2006 to 2016, and the last includes games released from 2019 to 2025. The blind bags retail for ¥400 ($2.50 USD) each. Box art magnets are also available in blind bags, divided into the same year categories, for ¥660 ($4.12 USD) each. Complete sets of magnets for each category are also available. The six magnets for games released 1996 to 2002 retail for ¥3,960 ($24.71 USD); the eight magnets for games released 2006 to 2016 retail for ¥5,280 ($32.95 USD); the six magnets for games released 2019 to 2025 similarly retail for ¥3,960 ($24.71 USD).
