New Moon Trailer- Oh dear lord..

Hmm. Let's hope Edward and Bella got better acting skills.

This was my least favorite book.

*headdesk* If that isn't terrible acting, I don't know what is.

Wow, those two are seriously terrible at acting.

This was my favorite book, although Bella's behavior in the beginning confirmed my hatred for her. And also proved her to be completely insane.

At least Jacob's super hot.

What's sad is that they usually put the best scenes in the trailer to entice potential audiences. If that's the best of the acting in the film... well, I don't know what to say ;-)

I just can't wait to see what they do to the newborn/teenager engagement at the end of the series when it hits the big screen. There are going to be riots from concerned parents if that ever comes out.

Just by watching this trailer, i can tell it has "EPIC FAIL" written all over it.
Seriously, this is going to be a terrible movie, and even some twilight fans at my school were saying how awful the first movie was. This movie will probably be even worse.

If I've ever seen a laughable trailer, this is it.

Paper cuts aren't dramatic. Period.

I was expecting "Unforgettable" by Nat King Cole to play during the flying-through-the-air into a piano scene. It was certainly very Comedian-esque, albeit a very cheap version.

Everything that has been said about the acting is spot-on. If the first flick is any indication of what the performances will be like in New Moon, be prepared for cardboard. Lots and lots of cardboard.

Another annoyance is that it looks like the whole thing has been shot in some drab Halloween-orange sepia filter.

One of my major problems with the flick, and series in general, is the obvious over dramatization of everything. Bella had known Edward for a minuscule period of time, and yet she can't live without him? And people believe this is realistic? I'm sorry, but I find any romance between anyone on the 16-18 range completely embellished. (Of course this is coming from someone in that range, so I'm not sure how reliable a source I am.) Teens don't know what love is, they only know extreme infatuation coupled with raging hormones.

Maybe I'm bias, because I believe romantic love doesn't exist, but I find it laughable that people take this series seriously.

Everything I dislike about this series can be summed up in the poster for New Moon:

So. Much. Angst.

I've never read any of the books, and I am by no means a crazed twilight fangirl.

But hey. I enjoyed watching the first movie, and didn't think of it as a waste of time or anything. So yeah, I'll be sure to see New Moon.

The acting of Bella. Yeah, I don't like how Kristen Stewart portrayed her at all. She's so.. monotone and her voice just irks me.

If for nothing else, I'll be watching this movie for Taylor Lautner. I've been a fan of his since 'The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl'.

Haha. Bella's actress makes the same, annoying faces as Emma Watson in Harry Potter. I guess that's popular in fantasy trend movies or something. o_O

The wolf reminded me of Narnia. Same special effects group?

Wow. So much Twilight hate. I'll admit that the movies are nowhere NEAR as good as the books, but they still do a fair job of representing it. Personally, I didn't like New Moon much. I kinda cried a little.

TWILIGHT SUCKS

Agreed, Twilight sucks. But people at my school are addicted to it and hate anyone who bashes faillight (even though the most helpful reviews of it on amazon are all critical of it.)

TWILIGHT SUCKS

If there is anything I can't stand, it is those who's furthest critique of something is "[INSERT TITLE HERE] SUCKS!" By doing this, it makes you no better than those who find the Twilight series so orgasmic without due evidence.

I've read (or at least tried to read) the Twilight series. It is well written, but for a story that doesn't deserve it. The same problem lies with the first film. It is well made, but the story just doesn't warrant a film of that quality. Why? Because there is nothing there.

I can see where Twilight's appeal lies. It is yet another retelling of the classic forbidden love story. This time with vampires who sparkle, but that is beyond the point. The forbidden love story is always popular, and always will be. Period.

Bella is another reason why the series is so popular. She has no personality and no unique traits that set her apart from any other character in literary history. This allows fifteen-year-old girls to project themselves upon the character, complete with their own quirks, along with anything else about them they consider "unique".

I have explained my many grievances with the series multiple times, including earlier in this thread, so I shan't go into detail. There is always going to be that series. The series that teens adore that isn't worth the adoration. The series that wins all the meaningless MTV Movie Awards, Kid's Choice Awards, and Teen Choice Awards. Everyone is naive enough at the age most Twilight fans are at to believe their favorite series is the best thing to ever hit the planet. Twilight-mania will burn out soon, these fads always do.

Oh no I read the books. I vowed to never read such a thing again. Sparkling vampires and a forbidden love with a freaking stalker. Gah.
