Holy Crap Swinub And Gliscor!!!!

I am not seeing this...this better be real.
 
Dawn captures a Swinub? Ash's Gligar evolves? Wow. Its a shame Gligar won't be around that much then, it must be evolving in just a few weeks times.

I wonder if Dawn captured Swinub because of that childhood friend she had in the Swinub filler. Its a good Pokemon for her, I wonder if it will actually evolve at some point. The evo's don't fit her at all.
 
Do I see Gliscor here? Or my eyes play games with me?
And Dawn with Swinub? Please, tell me it's not her! Please, please! It can't be Dawns'.
 
Wow, Gliscor just seems so out of place amongst all of those starters and base forms. I wonder why it's standing behind Dawn...

Wait, where the hell is Mukkubird?
 
Mukkubird is behind Greggle. It's hard to see, but it's there.
 
Why is Gliscor behind Dawn then? There is plenty of room behind Ash.

For all we know the Swinub could belong to Brock.
 
Eh, this is OK as its own thread since it reveals some things that affect the TV series a lot.

Why does Gligar get to evolve so soon? Mukubird and Naetle deserve it more... *grumble* I mean, why does Satoshi even have Mukubird if he has this huge Glion? I honestly thought Gligar would be the one that they kept unevolved (like Heigani in AG).

I don't think it matters who is standing where. The Urimoo could belong to Takeshi, not Hikari.
 
Its hard to imagine a boring Pokemon like Turtwig remains unevolved while a Pokemon with actual personality, like Gligar, does evolve.

Why haven't the writers evolved Turtwig yet? Its the absolute worst grass type Ash has ever owned in the series and its going to be totally forgettable unless they do something of interest with it.
 
At least it defeated Roark's Rampardos and Gardenia's Turtwig and it also learn Energy Ball.And it is funny that it sometimes bites Ash similar to Gligar and Bayleef.

Yes, it is powerful enough to deserve the next evolution, not like Gligar.
 
I would like to see how Ash would react after being bit by a powerful Grotle.:p
I wonder if Gligar steals a Razor Fang from a COD.:p

Are you kidding? Grotle is one of the heaviest overall starters. If it even tries biting Ash's head, he's good as dead. But if he can hold a Hippopotas on his shoulders... still, it really isn't likely to happen.

I know you mentioned Hippopotter, but since when has weight ever mattered in the Pokemon World? Or in the anime, no less?

Urimoo = If it's Takeshi's, then it's Okay.

In overall, it's a lose.
 
Come to think of it, Gligar's evolution reminds me of Snorunt.

Both Gligar and Snorunt were only around for a short while and evolved out of nowhere. As we know, Glalie was Oak'd after the league. I wonder...
 
^Unless the bird's next in line to evolve and it goes instead, It's looking pretty likely up the road for it to go to the bench, besides they did give him six guys pretty quick as well so it's kinda hard not to see at least one more capture happen later on.

Well either that or Oak wanting to "Study" one of the others...

As for thw swinub i'm going with dawn, it just seems so likely especially with her childhood friend having some of them.

Gligar evolving already is a little shocking. Although the movie is still 4 months away, so that gives it a fair amount of time for that evolution to happen.

And Urimoo? What a random capture. Although it seems like nothing is that surprising in this series.

Remember, Dawn has a childhood friend with 3 Swinub in a recent filler. That could have been foreshadowing that she was going to get one herself.
