From Sushi on SPPF

A magazine called "Pokémon Scoop" revealed some information regarding the Pokémon anime (the other bits I'll post in their corresponding threads).

There will be an anime version based on the two new Mysterious Dungeon games, Time & Darkness Exploration Team. It is scheduled to air on the 9th of September as part of Pokémon Sunday.

I LOVED the first special and am excited! I dunno if this is a series or just a one-time thing, but YAY!

Awesome! The first one was cool, hopefully this one will be at least as good.

Wait, will it be another one-shot special, or the new series?

Its only airing that one day, so I assume its only 1 episode like the first one was.

Yeah! Another Dungeon Special!

But I expect it to be different than first one. This time, the special debuts in Japan, not USA.

I liked the first one. Will this one be as good, or even better? We'll see.

Yay!

Another Mystery Dungeon special! ^_^

This is GREAT news!!!!

And also, I can't wait until we get the special in the U.S. XD

It should be really good.

Heh, awesome! I have to admit that I overall liked the starters they used in the first one better, but still, I can't complain! I REALLY hope they make it a series! Even my brother (who has long since passed Pokemon) enjoyed the Mystery Dungeon Special and said it should've been made into a series.

Just the fact that we are finally getting an original episode on Pokémon Sunday is great news. Let's hope we get more, whether as a Mystery Dungeon series or Hoso 2.

And first special's #PM Multisub release is still not ready...

I hope if they bring back Hoso's, they atleast try to make them slightly more interesting then most of the last batch (they were basically fillers with minor characters as stars).

Although, if we get to see what Masamune is up to...:)

they better also show us Silver, lots and lots of Silver. He's about the only good thing to have come out of those various fillers that starred Deusex McClone and reduced YamaKosa to pathetic knock-offs. There is a possibility that he was just some one-shot (even if he was an elitist hunting down fucking legendaries to challenge and capture), but if he really was being built up to be Satoshi's father, his odds of returning are good (on the other hand, those writers could just end the whole series with nothing more than a couple hints, if they were even hints in the first place and not blown out of proportion by the fans. It'd suck major balls, but this scenario seems feasible).

I predict there will be no new animation outside of this, they're only making this to advertise the new game just like the first one.
