You know, XD001 (shadow lugia), primal dialga, purple keckleon and maybe some I forgot. Do you think some of the gen V spin-offs will give is more of these forms? If so, what kind of new formes would you like to see?

I think a dark Arceus would be pretty cool.

Eh, I suppose. They haven't had any issue in the past with these.

I hope so. I really liked Primal Dialga.

I wouldn't mind a corrupted Mew or Shaymin, just to see a cute evil thing.

Isn't corrupted mew technically mewtwo?

No, it's a superclone, theres a huge difference. I would want something more creative than re-using corruption, though.

Maybe Pichu-Coloured-Pickachu:banana: No, I don't have good ideas atm.

Ukulele Pichu, the deadliest sonnavabeech ever crafted.

If they do make non-main game forme'd Pokemon, I should probably play 'em. I didn't realize what primal Dialga was till I looked him up.

Though it'd be awesome to have these variations be usable in the main games. But I suppose if they were, they wouldn't exactly qualify for non-game formes.

anime=/=games.

Mewtwo is a clone of mew, meaning it is mew by definition, but they modified, or corrupted, its DNA, making it the violent purple creature we know today.

I disagree on your definition on a corrupted pokemon, since Mewtwo can't revert back to Mew by purifying it's not corrupted by the definition of a corrupted pokemon. To me the GameCube games defines what corrupted.

You can't always reverse corruption. Corruption of DNA is permanent.

Sorry, can you specific were in the games that is said? Only logic from the games matters. As yourself have said so many times before.

If that was your attempt to trap me in a hole, it was a really bad one.

The games state that Mewtwo was created from Mew through DNA experiments.

It was created by a scientist after years of horrific gene splicing and DNA engineering experiments.

Its DNA is almost the same as Mew's. However, its size and disposition are vastly different.

A Pokémon created by recombining Mew's genes.

Mewtwo is a Pokémon that was created by genetic manipulation.

There. That should be enough for you. They spliced and manipulated (or corrupted) the DNA of Mew to create a new pokemon. Now, the games appear (we don't know for sure since the games are not about genetic engineering) to be following the science of cloning accurately. And the science of cloning revolves around DNA. DNA, once it has been copied, reproduced, and remade into an organism cannot be changed. Notice Mewtwo does not contain Mew's ability to transform. It's DNA is static, unchanging. To alter DNA would mean altering EVERY strand in EVERY cell of Mewtwo's body. Impossible (except of course through evolution of a legendary), even by the science of the pokemon world which granted is only slightly more advanced that of the modern world. Pokemon being energy beings and all has helped a bit. But even then the only pokemon who can change and manipulate are pokemon who are either artificial, or are Mew and Ditto. Scientifically, by modern world rules and rules in Pokemon, you cannot change DNA in an organsim.

Now, granted, there is the process of evolution, but that would seem to be a genetic mutation or adaptation, not a complete DNA change. The pokemon itself remains the same pokemon. Keep in mind that the games do say all pokemon are simply diverse adaptations of a single species that branched from Mew. So Mewtwo, as a legendary, is going to stay with Mew's corrupted DNA forever, thus making Mewtwo a corrupted version of Mew.

BTW, is this even the topic, arguing the science of the pokemon world?

I think one of the spin of games should have a Mewtwo who wears a trilby permanently, does that count?

@Ryuutakesh!, I still don't count it as a corrupted Pokemon, since it don't share other traits whit corrupted Pokemon, different name and Dex# than Mew, can't revert into a Mew by purification, have different BST than Mew, can't use shadow-moves (save for shadow ball, but if thats counted you got a huge list of corrupted pkms, like Eevee and Girafarig and Mew itself), so IMO it's not a corrupted Pokemon.

But I don't really care, this is stupid since we have different definitions of what a corrupted Pokemon is, to me a corrupted Pokemon is a Shadow Pokemon.

and to me corrupted isn't just a synonym for Shadow Pokemon.

Fine, then we can agree that we wouldn't ever reach an agreement and stop the debate. :)

I Agree. Even though Shadow pokémon are corrupted, not all corrupted pokémon are shadow. It's as easy as that.

On topic, would a Spinda with a complete red face be funny? Seeing how there is a complete white faced spinda.
