News New One-time Ending: Brilliantly by Yuki Kaji (As Clemont)

Correction: it is a new ending (as new as you can call it, it's just a cover of the song KiraKira sung by Clemont).

Also, it will be a one-time thing like Team Rocket's ending theme.

I never said it was a new song. I said it's a new "ending", since it has not been used as an ending before. But if it has, then that's my bad.
 
I was hoping for this to be a new ending song, but too bad it's one-time only.

And they really do need to replace the Puni-chan song. Not that it's bad, but it doesn't fit with the episodes as it is.

Everyone becomes worried after losing Puni-chan? Que the Puni-chan song
Ash fainted after battling Alain? Que the Puni-chan song
Serena is crying? Que the Puni-chan song

It's just... way too upbeat. And we have the league coming up. It's really gonna be unfitting when they que the Puni-chan song whenever someone's feeling bad after losing a battle... At least KiraKira has some messages about friendship and hardwork ;_;
 
I hate Squishy's Song so much. Not only is it too sweet and upbeat for such a serious series, but it gets stuck in your head too quickly! It's like putting "Dancing Queen" as the ending song for Dragon Ball Z, it just doesn't work!
 
I dunno if they should take pointers from the dub... considering they STILL HAVENT CHANGED THE TITLE CARD TO REFLECT SERENA'S NEW HAIR :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

TPCi's never updated the title card. If they had dubbed early Hoenn, the kids would've been stuck in Littleroot Town the entire time.

On topic, I like Puni-chan's song, but we've had it since October and it's high time to change it. I'd love a Kimi no Mune ni Lalala-esque song for the final XY ending, but I have a feeling the last ED (if we get one) will be more idolshit that's plagued the series since BW.

I don't really mind it either, but I agree. It's just so out of place as of now. Got a good chuckle out of this though.
 
I still think they should just do Team Rocket's Team Song for the rest of the series, god knows it would be the only good XY ending other than DoriDori. Even if it's the same copy-paste animation they used for the one-off.

I don't think that is as unlikely as you think. There is still one song left to be released and we have already had:

- Bonnie song.
- Serena song.
- Clemont song.
- Team Rocket song.

And Ash/Rica sings the XY&Z opening.

Honestly, all that is left is a group XY song that will be used in the farewell episode. Either that or Alain or Mairin get a song.

What idolshit?

We haven't got a single one of those songs as a part of this character song project, so why expect the last one to be like that? They're "character" songs.

Why can't OLM replace this dumb Eureka ending with either Trio's, Serena's or Citron's ones for instance? >_> I haven't seen his yet and I bet it's better than the current one.

I forgot we still had one song left!! I was holding out for a Pikachu song, but as long as it's not a Geckouga song ha ha ha then I can't imagine much that I'd be unhappy with. A group one at the end would be preference #2. I just hope it will be used for more than the farewell episode because I swear if I have to listen to Puni-chan's song until November I don't know what I will do.
