New PBR stuff

-Character customization features six base models to use. Poké Coupons can be used to buy accessories and clothes beyond the basics, and upon clearing a challenge in the game, you can use the Lucario suit that the mysterious Colosseum leader wears.

-A "Midnight Colosseum" has been revealed. It is thought to be used for the highest level battles (Prime Cup/Orre Colosseum, perhaps?)

-At the beginning of the game there are ten Colosseums. No word on if there may be more hidden.

-Free Battle teams can be saved to the Wii Remote for easier transport if you don't carry your DS. Neat little feature, if you ask me.

-Wifi is done in two styles: you can either battle with friend codes ala DP, or be matched against an opponent of equal skill level anywhere in the world---and it isn't download-based like the DP Battle Tower either, as you will be matched in real time.

He's also added lots of new pics, showing GORGEOUS new graphics with Pokémon like Berobelt, Mukkuhawk, Jibacoil, Dialga, Palkia, Floatsel and Rentoraa.

Totally. This could possibly be the biggest thing to happen to the Pokémon gaming franchise since it started---and even if not, it's still a HUGE plus.

I can't get over how gorgeous these new pics are, especially that Jibacoil. Yum.

Um. "n00b who tries to avoid D/P functions" question time. Is this battling-with-strangers feature on D/P too? Or is it just trading?

And those six characters at the top are the standard models, right? They're looks are great; excellent fan fic material. The trainers in the pics are cutomized characters, mirite?

I would assume so. The helmet that the muscleman is wearing in a battle shot looks like a Cipher Peon helmet, you can't deny it. And one of those hats looks a lot like Aaron's/Gen's, so I can hopefully build my fanfic character up into PBR

Unless I'm misreading what you're saying, I thought I heard that you DO earn Exp. Points by uploading a team to the game from DP for use in the story mode. Or do you mean in the Wifi Battles?

Speaking of Wifi Battles, I'm not sure if the Random Pairings thing is in DP. I'm not the one to ask for that.
