Two of the new plushes, Pikachu and Ditto, have a knitted appearance (though they are not actually knitted from yarn) and will retail for ¥3,850 ($24.70 USD). Wooloo , which is knitted and does have yarn detail for its “pigtails,” retails for ¥4,950 ($31.75 USD). Their appearances are based on the gameplay in Pokémon Friends , where players solve puzzles to earn yarn, which they can then use to make in-game plushes.
All three plushes will be available in limited quantities via Amazon Japan beginning December 27th, with preorders opening December 20th.
