New Pokémon 3DS themes available on American region 3DS systems: Themes feature Pikachu, ...

Two new Pokémon 3DS themes, titled "Pokémon: Onemuri Pikachu" and "Pokémon: Primal Groudon/Primal Kyogre", are now available to purchase for $1.99 each from the Nintendo 3DS theme shop.

I'm in North America and those have been available since the 21st, I got the Primal Groudon/Primal Kyogre one that day after getting home from picking up the game. So, I'd say this news is a little late.

Same here. I got the Primal one the day the games came out.

It would be certainly great for everyone if there where themes based on more Pokémon granted Nintendo should since micro-transactions and what not could be good for business. Then again I don't even know exactly what are micro-transactions...

Onemuri Pikachu is based off a brand of Japanese merchandise of Pikachu sleeping of the same name.

So I'm guessing that there's still hope for the Slowpoke theme outside of Japan then? Considering it was based of a mini-site and a Japanese promotional music video.
