Released on the 22nd of January, and contains the complete Kalos Pokedex & post game strategy guide, all stuff the original guide didn't cover. It stands at 736 pages, the biggest Pokemon guide to date.

Good news for guide collectors I suppose, but it's got quite a late release date tbh. I wonder if/when we'll see a National Dex guide.

Oh, nice! I can't wait to pick it up! I kind of wish it would come out before Christmas though...

Uh...WHAT Post-game? This game has 1 extra town and a showdown with Mewtwo and Moltres/Zapdos/Articuno. :|
The Pokedex would be good though, at least to give total confirmation on any information we haven't already gained by this point.

Expected, seeming Japan is getting a second guide in December (I think?)

I'll be picking this one up for sure!

According to this, Japan are getting three in total.

Shame we get ours so late, but it's better than nothing.

Urm... the Looker quest line, Mega Stone hunt, Zygarde, Battle Maison.

Still not much of a post-game compared to what we got in Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova though. But it's a post-game nonetheless, and maybe there are things we still don't know about yet. Who knows?

The Looker quest is actually pretty short, took me about a hour
Maybe the three "secret" Pokemon that were leaked a few days ago?

And that poster would be nice. My poster from HGSS is still taped to my wall.
What sucks is that it includes the REGIONAL pokedex, not the NATIONAL! ARRRRGH!
(I'll probably pick it up anyways)

I'm just struggling to work out how this can be the largest guide to date if all it contains is a meagre post-game and Pokedex. Unless, of course, it IS an entire National Dex. Then it makes sense.
EDIT: Nevermind. It's just that Kalos' dex is ludicolo-lously large. Even so...

Far too late at this point. I picked up the first one, but I can't myself picking this up.

I agree about the postgame of Sinnoh and Unova but i keep seeing people saying that Johto post game was one of the best wich in fact wasn't that good. Kanto in Gen 2 is a barren wasteland with nothing to do but battle the Kanto Gym Leaders but that's it, it takes like an hour to defeat them all and the only another thing to do is battle Red wich is awesome but it takes nearly no time to do it.

I meant the Johto remakes...

I didn't even know HG/SS had a Battle Frontier, i was talking about about G/S/C postgame wich alot praise it as one of the best. And now come to think of it only the remakes and third versions had a good postgame so i don't see why people expect a good postgame in the main games when the good postgame comes in the third version/sequel.

Well, as I said, I was talking about the Johto remakes. There's much more to Kanto in HG/SS and as you say, there's the Battle Frontier and stuff.

It's likely theres a lot of post game stuff we haven't found yet

dissapointing the japanese version comes out first, the whole point of worldwide release for the games is so we dont know everything before it comes out. but it looks like we will end up knowing everything from the japanese post game guide long before the english release of the guide

I'm just happy we're getting the official art. And I'll probably get this. I like guides, no matter how redundant they are.

A Japanese release first really is a step backward; we should be getting all content worldwide simultaneously from now on. Wasn't the whole point meant to be so people who weren't from Japan wouldn't spoil everything in the days/weeks/months before it arrived in their respective countries? I'm tired of the favouritism they always get. ALWAYS.

As for 'not found yet' post-game stuff...I don't know about that. After all, there are now at least a million players of the game, and by this point in time it's fair to assume at least half of that have entered the Post-Game. It really would surprise me if nobody had stumbled across something new and let people know, if only by word of mouth or #chan posts.

i doubt they figured out how to get spiritomb without a guide back in DP so maybe its something obscure like that
