New region - South Oz region (Lead)

How about a new South Oz region, with really different pokemon, because South Oz is an abreiviation of South Australia, so it would not be anywhere near the other regions.i will make a map, and I've already started on pokemon... Anyone would like to join in?
 
Okay, i got the 'world' map type thing.... I havent exactly named the towns and cities yet, I kinda lost my muse today, so, here is South Oz!

Cranbrook town. The town where you start, it has your house, your rivals house, and the proffesors house, much like firered and leafgreen.

The rumors in this town are so startling, you have to go find out and explore the region. When you walk outside, your mom will instantly give you running shoes. The professor is standing by the pond, looking at a poliwag and wishing there were more poke'mon in the pond. he asks you to see them all. Pokemon to catch: Surf: Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Floatzel, Gyarados. Fish: Lumineon, Milotic and Lapras. (all super rods)

18 through to 22 is much like the fight/survival/resort area of d/p
Note that all the names except 5, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22 are real places, althoguh they may not be in the right spot, but they are relitively close to it.
 
there were the only ones i could find... hehe... as soon as i can i will scan the starter pkmn and their evolvements
 
scanned them, now just adding detail to the starters on computer. Keep watching to see Looflog, Roaleaf, Grite, Flick, freegle, molterird, Satin*, Registrish and sharkulator!
* pronounced like saturn not satan...

In Merredin City, there is a Pokemon center and a pokemart (how original) and it also has a gym in there, thats also an original idea of mine... lol. It has the bike shop, a randoms house, and a person called 'The courier' owns a house, you have to talk to him before you can get the pokedex.
 
Nice map! Couple of questions though...

1. What's the item in the ball?
2. Is there supposed to be a gap in the trees on the left of the map, like a secret entrance of sorts?
 
1. Maybe a potion.. i dunno >.<
2. No, just had not room...
 
i like the way the town is set up and the shrine to pretty cool
 
thankyou! The shrine is where you first hear about the legendary pokemon.
