Is this real? We've had fake scans show up in the past but this looks more believeable.
 
Also looks like Jun is getting another episode, yay.

I think it is believable. And plus it is her anime form in her platinum clothes although I thought they would have save this for another saga. It would make sense since she's going to a cold city.
 
table tennis with pokemon is one of the more odd ideas in the anime..

Dawn in her Platinum clothes! ^__^ too bad it's probably just for these snow episodes... I think the movie 12 promotions already revealed by July she's back in her regular clothes... I prefer her Platinum...
Pokémon Ping Pong! I like when they make these random competitions ^_^ and Dawn use Ambi again! And Jun in as well! The writers love me all of a sudden?!

I like how Dawn gets to "battle" one of Ash's rivals without Ash entering the same thing (or at least it doesn't look like Ash will do it)
If Ash can battle Dawn's rivals, it's only logical to let Dawn do the same
A while ago people complained how neglected Ambipom is and now I see that I was right - every Pokémon gets their time to shine and no one is truly neglected since if one neglected now it'll get redeemed in the near future
It's hard to focus on all the group's Poké at the same time so somtimes ones overshadow the others but eventually most of them get about equal screen time

Stupids on Serebii think Ambi is going to leave because of this... WTF
The writers clearly stopped this ridiculous "leave their Poké" thing with the twerps... it happens only to TRio now
And Ambi LOVE Contests and that's the whole reason Dawn got her... it makes no sense to suddenly have Ambi leave for ping pong or whatever
Please don't speculate Ambi leaving here as well... I had enough in Serebii

Those Platinum clothes wouldn't offer much protection for her legs.
 
On that 3rd pic, is Piplup trying to stop itself from evolving? Cause that what it looks like.
 
It doesn't look like an evolution. That's like...blue fire/aura'd/blue psychic energy/power-up move like Aqua ring, or something. Even when Bulbasaur was preventing its evolution, it was still flashing that all-lit thing that happens during evolution.

Omg, SnoverisSOADORABLE. WTF, two screens and already I think it's the greatest one-timer pogey in the WORLD (Hippopotas dun count, it showed up twice), simply because of what it's doing.

But what's with the snowball item?
 
That "snowball" is called "Ice Candy" in the magazine... or at least that's what it looks like to me

And I just thought of that... from how it looks after the Pip ep we have the Contest and after that the ping pong
So I guess in the Pip ep Kenny and Jun tell Dawn about the Contest/Pingpong and she decide she wants to compete too
So Kenny and Jun both stay for the Contest, Dawn/Kenny (and Jessie?) compete while Jun watch (but I'd so love to see Jun in a Contest, I'll die from overexcitement) and then Jun stays for a THIRD episode ^_^ for the ping pong competition! I guess Kenny might stay to watch (or compete?) too
So it seems like we got Jun for 3 episodes in a row and possibly Kenny too
And it seems like in May Dawn changes to Platinum clothes and since Candice appear they probbably reach Snowpoint where I guess we'll learn more about Zoey, get our next Gym Battle, hopefully have Brock and Croagunk see Uxie (and throw there a May mention to make me happy please) and hopefully but unlikely see Brandon again for Regigigas (I began to like the idea he might be Paul's father after that thing with Reggie's missing Symbol)

I'll get crazy from excitement in all of these next episodes
 
Those aren't the same kids from that old old meowth episode are they, or just similar design?
 
Am I the only one troubled by the fact that nearly all those screenshots appear to be in 4:3, even though the show is supposed to go HD (and thus, 16:9) next month? Unless I'm just getting worked up over nothing (as usual), the episodes themselves are in 16:9, and they just cropped them in the magazine to 4:3 for whatever reason.

I'm also surprised (and glad) that they're not waiting until Hikari's inevitable Generation V cameo to show her new Platinum outfit.
 
So it might be HD but... stay full screen? (doesn't know a thing about this stuff)
These scans really don't seem any different than the previous episodes... I don't notice any real improvement...
EDIT: After I looked at the scans again, I think there is a little improvement in the Snover and up episodes (which is when the HD supposed to begin) compared to the Mamo episode...

No you aren't :/ Hopefully, as you said, the magazine just cropped them so they fit better on the page or something.

Those kids look cute, and a big yay for Jun! (And a slightly smaller one for Kengo ;-)) Presumably Hikari AND Kengo (and of course Musashi) are competing in this contest. Hikari can't possibly be about to win this, as we've still got 2 gyms to go.

Pokemon PingPong sounds so awesome :-D And are Hikari's pokes trying to camouflage Manmoo?! XD Whilst I'm glad the platinum outfit seems to have arrived, I still wish the skirt was longer, or she was wearing some tights or something -_-

ETA: on the 4:3 issue, the shot of fat dude and Kamonegi looks wide...
