New “Soaring Dreams” merch collection starring Flying-type Pokémon coming soon to Pokémon Centers in Japan

The Pokémon Company is showing off their latest merchandise collection, which features Bagon and Trapinch dreaming of flying with their evolved forms, among other Flying types. The collection includes plushes, accessories, and some interesting home goods featuring the pairs. “Soaring Dreams” merch will arrive at Pokémon Centers in Japan on July 4th, and to the Pokémon Center Online on July 2nd.

The two star plushes of the collection are Salamence holding Bagon and Flygon holding Trapinch as they fly through the sky. Each retails for ¥3,960 ($24.48 USD). Some more Flying types like Dragonite, Dodrio, and Altaria are available as plush pins, which retail for ¥1,760 ($10.88 USD) a piece. A set of two pouches, where the larger pouch has Corviknight and Skarmory as the zipper pulls, retails for ¥2,750 ($17 USD), and a vinyl tote bag will retail for ¥3,850 ($23.80 USD). A passport and luggage tag set will be available for ¥2,860 ($17.68 USD), a transparent umbrella for ¥3,300 ($20.40 USD), and seven different connectable acrylic charms will be ¥770 ($4.76 USD) each.

There are some unique pieces of home decor in this collection, starting with the Salamence and Bagon acrylic mirror for ¥2,420 ($14.96 USD). A Bagon memo stand comes with three different kinds of memo pads for ¥2,640 ($16.32 USD), and a set of two double-layered curtains retails for ¥3,300 ($20.40 USD). A Ho-Oh suncatcher will be available for ¥4,400 ($27.20 USD). To round out the collection, a reusable water bottle will retail for ¥1,870 ($11.56 USD), a clingy towel for plastic water bottles for ¥1,650 ($10.20 USD), and a Bagon memo pad for ¥880 ($5.44 USD). A souvenir box of candy will also be available for ¥1,512 ($9.35 USD).

This collection is not currently scheduled to become available via Amazon Japan.
