i think that Game Freak should get a better storyline.
It's annoying with the team:banghead:
It's been years. Can't Game Freak do any better at all.

It's a remake... so I think not.

Besides, the story ultimately is just something you do to get better pokemon/legendaries. It's fun as it is, doesn't need to be oscar-worthy.

I know but can they do a bit better
it's not like i hate it. It's just annoying a bit.
All i want is it to be more interesting. More surprises.

Hmm... you know, if you don't like the storyline, maybe you shouldn't be complaining to a group of people who do.

Please don't double post, you'll get into trouble.

And I do believe they are going to expand the story-line, but they won't outright replace it. It's still going to be focused on Team Rocket. Hopefully just a lot more focused rather then being thrown in there like an afterthought.

You also have your rival (who may or may not have a connection to Team Rocket revealed) and the main character of the other gender in the mix as well.

Instead of dissing the plot before you know it, play the games, and then keep your opinions to yourself.

That's right. Nobody's allowed to voice their opinions here. Especially not when they're not in agreement with other peoples' opinions. We don't want a discussion here, or anything.

Okay, not quite what I meant. If the guy doesn't like the plot, posting, "I don't like the plot" here isn't going to get him anywhere. He'll just get people telling him to either

a. Not play the games
b. get over it.

I can tell from what I've seen here that people who are a minority in their stance on something are generally disliked by a good amount of other people. Of course, it would help if the poster did something other than, "I think this sux!"

That's not really a "Bulbagarden thing", it's a "life thing".
It's how the world works, and it'll remain that way.

OP, You'll get fewer flames if you post Why it sucks, and what you want to see changed as opposed to "I don't like it".
Then again, there's already multiple threads for that.

In my opinion, silver/gold has had the best story so far. There's nothing extreme to it. You get a pokemon for helping proffessor Elm, you start collecting badges, you bounce into team rocket here and there and you encounter troubles along the way (like the road blocket by sudowoodo, getting the pokemon medicine for jasmine, the red gyarados at lake rage etc).

I didn't really like the extreme story in the generation IV games. It feels kinda too much, too many legendary pokemon, too much at stake. You literally save the world, and once the adventure is over, you feel like... "What should I do now?". The story just ends. That's how I felt at least.

I feel the same.

I agree with the Gen IV plot, but the Gen II plot was weak. It starts off good, exploring team rocket, but it climaxes halfway through with the Red Gyrados, and the rest of the game felt half-done. The extended storyline should establish that Team Rocket in Johto is just a branch of the main organization, and that they are mostly established in Kanto. That would allow the story to ramp up when you get to Kanto, while allowing the current story to remain. Also, Team Rocket should get involved with some of the legendaries somehow. I don't know how they should do it, but it should be done.

Jouto has the weakest story out of all the games, but I don't think it should be changed, just improved wich it looks like what GF is trying to do. Apparent longer gameplay should have a more solid story than what we got 10 years ago, so heres hope GF is actually trying to make up for that this time around.
