Summaries for Final Contest Part, Mukkuru, and Brock Episode.

Plz Translate someone, okay, k thank!

Ohohoho, fun stuff ahead...

DP012: Satoshi and Hikari enter round two. Satoshi is full of confidence - "I'll win this contest, and also win the gym battles", but a girl tells Satoshi not to participate in contests if he's aiming for gyms...

Storyboard by Hidaka Masamitsu, ex-director of the anime.

...Satoshi is participating in contests? .-. Is it prove something to Hikari or did he get a taste for them after that one with Haruka?

We see him appealing with Aipom in the preview for this weeks episode.

But this does sound interesting. The one thing we can take from this is that Ash probably won't be participating in any future contests. I bet the girl is Nozomi. Maybe that will be D/P's ship after all...

So what's happening with Mukkuru and Brock? Any mention of Shinji?

Yes, yes, what's in the Leave it to Takeshi episode? I really want to learn what it is we're supposed to leave to him. :x

More staff info:
- DP012 was written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, who also wrote the previous episode. Animation director is exactly as I predicted: Izumi Shimura (who also did the [bp=DP008]Gureggru episode[/bp]).
- DP013 is the first Diamond & Pearl episode written by Seishi Togawa. Animation director is Makoto Shinjō, who also did [bp=DP007]Good Luck, Pochama!![/bp].
- DP014 was written by Shōji Yonemura, who also wrote DP006. Animation director is Hiromi Funatsu, who also did the [bp=DP009]Mimirol episode[/bp].

As for summaries...

Contest Battle! Rival Confrontation! - Izumi Shimura
- Ash and Hikari enter the Contest and make it safely to the second round
- Ash is confident to win both the tournament and his upcoming Gym Battle, when suddenly a girl appears and tells him not to enter Contests if he is a Gym Battler

Mukkuru Hangs On! - Makoto Shinjou
- They group's in a forest again, and Ash is training for the Gym Battle with Mukkuru
- They meet a woman/girl(?) called Yukari
- Yukari is researching to find out why the number of bird Pokémon in the forest has decreased so much recently

Leave it to Brock! - Hiromi Funazu
- The group meets a Nurse Joy in the mountains. An injured Nuzleaf is with her
- Brock gains the trust of the Pokémon, which is very afraid of people at first, and treats it
- He agrees to bring it back to its hangout, but on the way, the Nuzleaf and Brock's Bonsly are kidnapped

Wow Brock gets kidnaped intresting, never happend to him before LOL. I'm just happy Ash is entering in Gyms and contests and I hope he kicks that girls butt and shows her that this just helps increase his strength. I think he did like the one he was in agiasnt May and decided to give them a shot along with Gyms. I'm glad he did ^^

Yeesh, the Brock episode sounds like a boring filler.

Brock helps a Nurse Joy and an injured Nuzleaf? This sounds like it should have been an AG episode.

Where are the D/P Pokemon, writers? Why the hell do we have to have a filler about Nuzleaf...AGAIN.

What is it with Joy and the Seedot line? XD

Definitely looking forward to this one even more now. I have a huge soft spot for Nuzleaf; I love the whole line, but Nuzleaf is my favorite of the three. Eee!

Sounds like a filler to me - but then again, it also sounds like there's a chance of it being a capture, just from the whole "Brock gains the trust of the Pokémon" line. If it was, that would sincerely and fully rock. If not, still sounds like it'll be a great episode.

Brock gained the trust of many Pokemon he didn't capture. That Stantler from Johto and Sharpedo from Hoenn, for instance.

I very much doubt he'd get a random Hoenn Pokemon in the D/P series. It doesn't even have any D/P evo's like Aipom has.

Don't be too sure Scott. You were also the one if I'm certian to say that Ash wouldn't be entering in contests and gyms and look what happend. I'm glad I was right on that, now he has twice as much to do now. Looks like he gains some sort of rival in contests too.

True, but he's also gained the trust of many Pokémon he did capture. It's not a large chance by any means of him capturing it, but it's certainly a chance, and I can't help but be optimistic.

There is also the question of why it's showing up at all if not for a capture. There's a whole bunch of new ones to advertise, isn't there?

Come to think of it, no matter what kind of episode it turns out to be, just the fact that we're seeing a previous generation Pokémon as the focus of an episode this early on into the new generation's anime is weird in and of itself. Particularly since it's one of two airing that week. Maybe there's something more to this episode that we won't know about 'til it's aired? (Or maybe the writers just love me? Nah.)

Why the Brock episode? The Mukkuru episode reaks of "boring filler" much more.

Of course, actually watching the episodes before passing judgement is out of the question.

Scott has been wrong on many things but not this. The most likely scenario is that Ash listens to that girl and doesn't enter future contests.

I wonder if Ash'll train Mukkuru in some sort of way which will mean it doesn't get horribly owned by Rock Types. Although the only thing I can think of is learning Steel Wing, which is eww.

Or this could be a rival for Ash and he defeats her. The writers wouldn't just this in for nothing. I have a feeling this new girl is going to be Ash contest rival and that he will defeat her in the final round. I can't wait to see Ash entering contests. Heck I've been right before on many things, the contests and gyms thing being one of them. I hope I'm right on this too, that would be so cool. Becuase this girl doesn't have a right to tell people that he or she can't enter in contests for doing gyms. It would be neat if he beat her and gained another rival only for contests, would make things more intresting. So here's hoping I'm right, it would make up for his lose agiasnt Shinji ^^
This would be a great way to start off Ash and the new rival. Plus Ash having a girl rival and Shinji as his rivals, two rivals for him this season would be neat. Specifically if the girl is in contests and Shinji is in gyms.

I have sincere doubts that they have any plans to double up Ash's plot. Contests are Hikari's thing, and if they had Ash doing them too, they'd just have the two tripping over each other too much in trying to reach their goal. That, I think, is the main reason why no one but Ash has been a gym challenger.

Besides, how do you know that girl who told Ash that it's a bad idea isn't just Jessie in her lovely disguise for this contest? =P

Hmm Pie you make a good theory about Jessie being the girl. But I still say its possibly a new rival for Ash in contests. And so what if he'd be triping over Hikari's time, I don't care I like Ash and love seeing him on screen more than enough time. So to him in contests is just twice the fun for me and I hope he is entering in contests and gyms. It would be much different from AG if they did that which people have been complaing about. And so what if Ash wants to try two different things, his contest with May might have had him want to to two different things. I still say he's entering and that he will kick that girls butt in contests.

Well, no, it wouldn't just be Ash tripping over Hikari, Hikari'd be tripping over Ash, too. They'd have to do twice as many contests and each contest would have to be twice as long and things would just get overly complicated and awkward. Other characters participating in a blue moon is fine, but in a consistant anime role like that, two's a crowd.

Also, no one's been complaining about a similarity to AG but Scott as far as I can see.

Exacly, he keeps complaing and complaing it gets annoying so I don't want to see that any more but hey'll probaly find some way to compare the episodes. I don't mind them triping over each other I'm a Pearlshipper so it would be fun for me. I don't see how they'd have twice as many contests it would be gyms and contests mixed together I'm fine with it either way and can't wait for it. If Ash does get a girl rival that would be cool becuase this would be his first girl rival. Any ways this is my opinion, please resepct it. I can't wait for the episode.
