New Super Sparring Event launches in Pokémon Masters EX, alongside Double Feature EX Fair Scouts featuring Mai & Munchlax and Perrin & Growlithe

Pokémon Masters EX is today launching its latest Ranked Damage Event, Super Sparring No. 20. Two EX Sync Pairs, Mai & Munchlax and Perrin & Growlithe, are also making their return to Pokémon Masters EX today in a set of Double Feature EX Fair Scouts.

Ranked Damage Event: Super Sparring No. 20
Featuring battles against Shauna, Barry, and Hop, this event will run through to May 27th, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Ranked Damage Events follow the same basic rules as the Damage Challenge, while applying some additional special rules to ensure a special challenge for players. The three battles included in this latest Super Sparring event, and their associated rules, are as follows:
  • Challenge Shauna
    • Three opponents, Steel-type weakness
    • No special rules
  • Challenge Barry
    • One opponent, Rock-type weakness
    • Special rule: Ally special attack damage significantly reduced
      • Reduces the damage allies deal with special attack moves by 80%.
  • Challenge Hop
    • Three opponents, Fire-type weakness
    • Special rule: Ally physical attack damage significantly reduced
      • Reduces the damage allies deal with physical attack moves by 80%.
After completing the challenge, Players will receive a Score Rank, along with Training Tickets and items based on the amount of damage dealt. Rewards are earned for every 25,000 points of score up to 500,000, and then a further reward for every additional 50,000 points. The rewards and their associated point levels are as follows:
  • 25,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 50,000: Strike Move Candy Coin ×1
  • 75,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 100,000: Strike Roll Cake Coin ×1
  • 125,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 150,000: Tech Move Candy Coin ×1
  • 175,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 200,000: Tech Roll Cake Coin ×1
  • 225,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 250,000: Support Move Candy Coin ×1
  • 275,000: Training Ticket ×10
  • 300,000: Support Roll Cake Coin ×1
  • 325,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 350,000: Field Move Candy Coin ×1
  • 375,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 400,000: Field Roll Cake Coin ×1
  • 425,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 450,000: Sprint Move Candy Coin ×1
  • 475,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 500,000: Sprint Roll Cake Coin ×1
  • 550,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×5,000
  • 600,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 650,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×5,000
  • 700,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 750,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×5,000
  • 800,000: Training Ticket ×20
  • 850,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×10,000
  • 900,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×10,000
  • 950,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×10,000
  • 1,000,000: Co-op Sync Orb ×15,000
  • Every additional 50,000 after 1,000,000: Training Ticket ×1
These Training Tickets, as with those acquired from the regular Damage Challenge, can then be exchanged for special Sync Pairs only available from the Training Ticket Exchange, as well as Co-op Sync Orbs.

A ranking feature is also available to this event, allowing players to see how well they've done against other trainers. Players whose Best Score is within the top 10,000 spots at the end of the event will be awarded Master Rank, and all players will receive a special Title based on their final standings in the rankings. Final Ranking Results will only be announced after the event has concluded, from May 27, at 11:00pm (PDT), and is expected to remain available until June 3rd, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • Area info completion data will not be carried over the next time this event returns.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • It may take some time for rankings to be updated, meaning the in-game rankings may not reflect the most recent results.
  • Battles finished after the event period ends may not be reflected in the rankings.

Double Feature EX Fair Scouts

The Double Feature EX Fair and Paid-Gem Double Feature Scout ×25 EX Fair are available in-game now, and will be running through to June 7th at 10:59pm (PDT).

EX Fair Scouts are the Poké Fair equivalent of EX Master Fair Scouts, with an offering rate of 2% for the featured Sync Pair, 1% for additional featured 5★ Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs (0.5% each), and 10% for other 5★ Sync Pairs, which may include other Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs. Like with normal Poké Fair Scouts, EX Fair Scouts require 400 scout points before players are able to get a free selection of any one Sync Pair available in the Scout.

The two Fair-Exclusive Sync Pairs who will join Mai & Munchlax and Perrin & Growlithe in this scout are Elio (Alt.) & Stakataka, and Palmer & Regigigas.

The Double Feature EX Fair includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for ×100 paid gems. This daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

As the name suggests, the Paid-Gem Double Feature Scout ×25 EX Fair is whopping ×25 Scout requiring 5,000 paid gems can only be used a single time. On top of the 25 scouted Sync Pairs, players using this massive scouts will also receive ×2 Superawakening Candy.
