"Lawrence" is actually Larry's real name & Iggy's flippin' weird so it doesn't matter much to me.

Normally I'd be flipping out about now but,yes I respect what you say but I didn't merely mean to say that he was flippin' weird or mistakingly misname him.(I have not done a lot of research on Iggy yet so therefor until Blackjack Polazzo pointed out who he was named after))

I don't know what the fuck he's trying to do, but rather than close this thread, we should probably turn this into a discussion about the Koopalings.

Anyway, I friggin' love the original seven. They all seemed like such a unique and colorful bunch, every one of them... Bowser Jr., however, fucking fails for his attempts to replace them (plus, his design was ripped straight from Baby Bowser, how unoriginal can you get?). God knows what they have against bringing them back (I'll refrain from mentioning remakes and Mario & Luigi, considering the latter was full of cameos anyway), but I'd really like to see a 3D incarnation of the guys sometime in the eventual future (considering they've done the same with practically every other Mario character... even fucking Daisy and Pauline, whom had previously been forgotten ever since their premiere games). Hmm... Brawl is gonna have a story mode. I wonder if there could at least be any mention of them at all during Bowser's scenario.

Everyone hates him. I can see why, but... I don't. I love him. He definetly need to be more distinctive from Baby Bowser, but the real sin I see here is when they changed Baby Bowser's design to resemble Junior even closer, bandana and all. Wtf.

I don't know, the kopalings are cool and all, but they aren't the most original design. It just seems like something I'd expect from the 80s, that said, I like them because their powers differ from Bowser's unlike Bowser Jr. (who I have nothing against) which makes them more fun to play against.

I know some people on other forums hate Bowser Jr with a passion, but I think they are blinded by nostalgia.

even when nostalgia's brought into the picture... what about New Super Mario Bros. (a game that was clearly catered towards nostalgics)? 8 worlds, 8 mini-fortresses. You'd think they could finally use the 7 Koopalings plus Bowser Jr., but instead, it's all Jr..... again! That is such a load of bullshit! -_- Really, I wouldn't mind the guy as much if he was just a new addition to the existing ones. They could even give him priority over the others (so long as the other exist), but it's when he outright replaces them in situations where they're easily usable (it all started with the Star Board on Mario Party... those 7 Baby Bowsers were only a precursor of what was to come) that pisses me off.

Urgh, don't even talk to me about NSMB! I passionately hate that game for the praise it gets when, for a Mario game, it can't even compare to the gameboy games. Highly overrated!

That said, it's easy to see why they put only Bowser Jr... it's much easier to code and a lot cheaper in many other ways!

Yes Bowser Jr. is a clone but his brothers,and Wendy,exaggerate & call him a screwed up clone of their father.

The 80's stuff is because their from the 80's & 70's in which I don't mind much at all to be truthful.

I'd also be pleased if you don't mind the title as this is a new thread Koopalings Discussion.
