The title says it all. If any of you didn't know, a new ThunderCats series has started on the Cartoon Network. It is quite a bit darker than the original series and the setting is completely different.

I personally like the new series. It's a bit more mature than the original, which I always thought could have a darker story. I also like the change in setting and the change of characters (the characters are mostly the same, but have different personalities and backstories). This is one series that really needed a reboot. Here's to hoping for a reboot of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe now...

One thing I can't forgive them for is making Snarf's character not talk. I guess it had to be done, as this isn't the 80s anymore, but still...

I am glad they kept a similar art style though. It's not the same, but definitely not so different as Batman: The Animated Series and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. I thank Warner Bros. for that.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

I actually prefer this series to the original one, the same went for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series in 2003, which I preferred to the original 1987 series.

They did WAY better then I thought on it. The new voltron looks like shit though. Pressed the wrong thing on the poll thing. -_____-
