New Transformers Movie CGI Design Images

Looks like TFW2005.com has unveiled some more CGI designs for the upcoming Transformers movies. This time, it's Starscream, Frenzy, Bonecrusher, and Ironhide.

I gotta say...I actually like Ironhide. Frenzy looks like a cross between the Terminator and movie Megatron. Starscream looks like an ogre. And Bonecrusher looks physically deformed. But...I'll be damned if these things aren't actually growing on me.
 
I really think it's going to take seeing them in action to get me completely sold.

I was never as harsh on them as some people have been but just seeing them as 2D pics doesn't really get me going.

Everyone also has a weird face... kinda hard to imagine seeing these things even talk with those designs.
 
lol @ Frenzy. Couldn't help but laugh when I first saw that. I know none of them are really like their original design, but come on! xfd

IronHide looks good, if a bit chubby. :p

Starscream looks like something that escaped from Halo. The soundbyte thing looks stupid. Ironhide and the other are OK, though.
 
Apparently "Soundbyte" (an early name they were considering for Soundwave) is, at least on the toy, called "Frenzy." He comes out of Barricade's chest (Barricade's a police car) in robot mode, at least on the toy. In the movie, he seems to act as some sort of projection/avatar/minion thing for Barricade.
 
Not quite. Mini-cons were used by the larger robots as a means to power-up. This guy's more of just a random smaller robot that comes out and helps. Like Soundwave's tapes in G1 or...well, that's really the only Transformers reference I can think of. Though, this is all from what I've heard, so it may not be ENTIRELY accurate (the movie part, the toy part's true). But Frenzy DOES play some sort of second banana role to Barricade. And works for him. In some fashion.
