New user, woo!

My first Pokemon game was Emerald, since them I have had Pearl, Platinum, and now Heart Gold. I would like to connect with other Pokemon fans to help answer questions, trade, and whatnot. I am a very absent minded person so the best way to get my attention would probably be through private message (after this thread). It has been a pleasure meeting you.

Just now I have finished trading my Pokemon from Platinum to Heart Gold. When I attempted to trade my Giratina from Platinum it was not holding its Griseous Orb. Could I get help with this?

It is sort of a failsafe that they created for Pokemon Platinum Version as Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Versions did not have the Griseous Orb within the data. It automatically places the Griseous Orb back in your bag in Pokemon Platinum if you try and trade it over to another game. Since the item is actually present in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions though, you can get it. The only way to do this is through the Arceus event. If you choose the Giratina from the Arceus event, it will be holding the Griseous Orb which is the only currently known way to obtain it.
