From last night's Scream Awards. Starts off with similar stuff from the last trailer, but starts showing quite a number of new things. Even ends with the Comedian falling out of his apartment.

It's so cool to see all those moments performed in live action. I can not wait for this to come out.

I've heard rumors that the ending might be different. But that they're also testing several endings...one of which is the one from the comic.

There are not multiple endings. There is one ending, and no squid. It's something else. In every other respect, the film is evidently really faithful, but in this regard, I can understand why no squid. It's too outlandish for a wide audience, and too comic-booky. The squid was a parody of ridiculous comic book villain plots. The film version is a more comic movie spin on it, or so I have been told.

From what I'VE heard, they've made the squid ending, they're just testing OTHER endings. Movie's stlll got another 5 months before release. Plenty of time to try new things. Lots of movies do it.
