I don't know if any of the older members remember me but I've been here before, and I will be the worst nightmare for all those who dare show artwork here. Mwahahahahaha! Just kidding. But I myself have Pokemon artwork and some critter artwork to show.

The first picture is an acrylic painting of a Haunter and Gastly, in a forest, spying on an unwitting Eevee. Click here.
Second is a pencil crayon drawing of Molly and Entei, the characters from Pokemon 3. Click here.
Third (I honestly should stop listing numbers) is a pastel picture of Mewtwo and Mew, with a night and day concept. Click here.
This one is of a Butterfree, sketched in my grid art style, and colored. Click here.

And now, the critters.
Here be, a dragon! (Its not that impressive.) Click here.
And here is another dragon done in paper cuts. (Cutting out over 500 individual scales is a pain, don't try it at home.) Click here.
And the last one of the day is a picture of my two In-Training Digimon, Serpmon and Sepliamon. Click here.

Comments and criticism is most appreciated, but I like criticism better. *Smiles*

VLK~~~~~ !! xDDDDD *TACKLE*

... I would be PewterOnix, fellow old-Art-Lounge-lurker, just in case you're wondering why random people are tackling you xD

ANYway. I'm sorry, I'm not good with critisism - I'm one of those freaks who only really focuses on the good in things. *laughs* I can give you comments, though~ !

The acrylic piece is amazing~ ! I lovelove the setting... and the fact that the Eevee is so cute and innocent (it looks vaguely like a bunny, the way the ears are perked up), and there's two big ">D"-ing ghosties in the background. And... my GOD, the TREES. O_O

Molly and Entei are cute. ^^ The Entei looks so fluffy! The Mewtwo and Mew... the lineart looks shaky in some places, but that doesn't matter because the colouring is -neat-. =D I like pastels, but I could never use them properly. ... for some reason, I really love the big column in the middle. XD

The Butterfree is pretty! ... but it's kinda hard to see all the gridwork when the picture is small like that. ;; You can see the grids clearly on the feet and stuff, but it makes the torso (... thorax?) look a little messy (to me, anyway). Was that intentional, though?

The first dragon is darling. ^^;; I see you're still doing all that little scale-detail that I envied before. XD I really like the shading - it gives the l'il guy a shine to him. ^^ The second dragon is lovely, as well! ... 500+ scales, though? How do you have the patience for all that? O.o;

And lastly, the Digimon are cute. X3 The brown one with the fluffy hair/ear thingies, especially.

Oh my gosh, Pewter! *Hugs* I thought I would never see you or anyone else from the old AL ever again. Glad that you're here.
The comments are a great help, thank you. I have to admit that my line art is basically junk in the Mew, Mewtwo picture. I need to work on that a lot. Same with the Butterfree. The purple was too dark to begin with. And the dragon, well 500+ scales takes patience I don't have. I believe I threatened to burn that thing several times over while I was working on it. *Sweatdrop*

I'm trying to give comments, but you did such a good job, that's it's hard to give critism on it. I'm sorry :-)

Eevee in forest

Awesome, this is draw so realistic, it could almost be a photograph! I like the way the light is falling trough the trees. However I think you should draw Eevees ears a bit longer, maybe it's head somewhat bigger. There's something that makes it look strange, don't now what. but everthing put together, great job.

Molly and Entei

Great job as well!. That's just all I can say about it. It's really well done. I like the shading on Entei

Mewtwo and Mew

Great idea, worked great out as well. The pilars really great, and i love how the day/night is worked out in it as well. Mewtwo looks really great on it, nicely shaded. Mew looks okay as well, but his arms seem a bit long to me. Nice job!

Butterfree

The butterfree itself's kinda okay, and the way it's body's done with the gridwork realy is original, maybe the shape of it's body should be a bit adjusted, some more color in the wings, but what really strucks me's the background. It's awesome, all those nifty colors!

Dragon

Whee! So great, all those scales, mus have been really a lot of work. really good

Dragon 2

What a job, but it really has something. It looks friendly and mysteriuos.

Digimons

Awe, those cutie digimons. :sweet: I can hardly give comments on this. Nice background, nice pose, cute. Maybe the shading should be made a bit more clear, but that's everthing.

You did a great job on these thing. I hope to see some more of your artwork

VLK! ^___^! Hey! Remember me? You used to draw me Tigrin stuff all the time... I have some of it saved but not all of it. :(

And your art is still amazing, my gosh... your real media talents are astounding. @___@;; I'd give you criticism but I'm too much in awe... it's great that you don't just try to copy or rip off Pokemon cliparts and stuff, you make it actual art and take an entirely different spin all on your own.. the colors are magnificent in all of those. :3! I really miss your art... where do you keep it now-a-days?

Thank you Flare-Espeon for the comments, they're a great help. Someone else pointed out that the Eevee's head was messed. I assume it was the way the eyes were shaped as well as the head. Yeah, the head could use some sizing too... *Sweatdrop*
I should probably practice drawing the Butterfree. Like the only thing I ever seem to draw recently is Serebii so it doesn't help the practice part.
As for that Mew I think I had to comprimse the crossing of arms with something longer than stumps. Mew has big feet, a big tail, and big eyes, but those arms are puny. Glad you noticed though.

Hey Tigrin, great to see you. *Hugs* Its always nice to 'see' old faces.
Thanks for the compliments, they were nice. I wish I could see your art in the AL sometime soon, its quite original from what I remember of it. I haven't been here in a long while.
Oh yeah I almost forgot, my website is http://www.vaporeonlugiakrabby.homestead.com/intro.html I swear, its the longest site url on the whole board.

Oh my! I must say all of your artworks are really amazing. My favorite? Molly and Entei. The colors and shading are very nice. Then: Mewtwo and Mew. Mewtwo looks outstanding and it's a great idea to put them on day-night, altough Mew looks a little weird. But hey, maybew that's just me. ^^;

Your artwork is amusing, because of the color use and special drawing materials

Your actual drawing technique is nice but doesnt really show a real personal style yet

the butterfree is by far the best, with the color use as the scenery

6,7/10 average overall

and the butterfree gets an 8/10 from me well done

Kasumi Chan, you're right about the Mew looking a bit odd. Kind of funny that everyone seems to notice there is a problem with it. I have to be super careful with drawing my Mews, thanks.

Espreon you bring up the originality factor of my art. Of course on a Pokemon related board its almost expected that a lot of artwork will almost be clones of someone else's idea. Honestly I'd give myself 1/10 for originality if that were the case. Although what is making me laugh is that you complimented the Butterfree. So far it warrants as probably the worst done piece (next to the Mew in the other picture). Thank you for highlighting my lack of originality. As an artist of course I should learn to get my own style like most of the other people here. *Shifty eyes* Hmm, experimentation time! Wee! *Giddy laughter*
