Project VOLTAGE High ↑, the continuation to the art and music collaboration Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, has posted its fifth song, with the release of 「たびだちのうた 」 Departure Song, by Japanese musician and producer 烏屋茶房(カラスヤサボウ) Karasuya Sabou, on Wednesday, January 28th, at 6:39pm (JST).

Karasuya Sabou began their Vocaloid career in 2010 with the release of 「wonder wander」, and their concept album 『goodnight, wonderend』 was released in 2014. In 2015, they wrote and composed the ending theme for the TV anime 「VALKYRIE DRIVE -MERMAID-」, and since then provide music for a wide range of genres, including anime, idols, and Vtubers.

It was previously announced that three new Project VOLTAGE High ↑ songs would be released in each of the first three months of 2026, and would be performed at the VOLTAGE Live! event in Tokyo in March 2026. The next song is slated to be released on Pokémon Day, February 27th.

Project VOLTAGE High ↑ is a continuation of the Project VOLTAGE 18 Types/Songs collaboration between Pokémon and Hatsune Miku (abbreviated as ポケミク PokéMiku), which included 20 original songs by different Vocaloid producers, and various illustrations by participating artists. Additionally, the X (formerly Twitter) account for Project VOLTAGE (@PokeMikuVOLTAGE) will continue to post illustrations featuring Miku and various Pokémon. The illustrations can be found catalogued on Bulbapedia.
