Date: Monday, August 13th
Time: 11:00 am
Location: Newfound Academy, Johto

It was time again for another year to begin at Newfound Academy. The students had arrived on buses, and when they departed from the motorized form of transportation, they were instructed by members of staff to go to the auditorium. It started off with a long, gold hallway. The carpet was red and pictured on the wall, were gym leaders and Pokemon. There were also Elite 4 Members (as well as their Pokemon), and Champions. These trainers were of past and present. The most infamous picture was of Champion Lance, and his fierce Dragonite. When you exit the hallway, there is a large auditorium, seating many students. In front of the room, there was a stage. That would be where the headmaster and faculty would be giving their introductions.

Luna looked at the letter she had received from the Academy. It read 'Ice House'. She simply nodded and took her luggage over to a seat and sat down. Not really having a chance to know anyone beforehand, she nervously sat alone. Pushing her lavender dyed fringes out of her eyes, she looked to see if anyone else would be making their way over.

As for Abby, she knew to head over to sit with her best fried. It was a shame that she wouldn't get to be in the same dorm with Blazil, but at the same time, they would still have classes together and could hang out when they had the time. She was just curious as to who she would be living with in the dragon dorms for the duration of her time here.

"Are you nervous?" she asked Blazil.

Zephyr nervously held his sister hand in his right one, and clamped his necklace in the left, his guitar and bags slung over his shoulders. He started feeling nervous, and gulped as he looked at all the students. He probably would have fainted if not for his sister. "I guess we should s-sit," he said to her.

"Tha would be an understatement," Blazil replied in her thick french accent. She looked at the teachers on the stage, catching a smile from her uncle. She would have smiled back, but she could tell he was itching for a smoke. "I need to talk to uncle Ace later," she sighed in exasperation.

Richard walked down the halls with a spring in his step, bobbing his head to some inaudible song playing in his head. He looked up at the pictures on the wall, taking note of the ones he recognized and smiling broadly. He was too excited for this! To be picked for such a prestigious school, especially for someone like him, was more thrilling than he could have imagined.

"You've got a smart best friend, and she's okay. Have you had a smile today? Close the door, take your seats, or else you'll have to play for keeps!"

The young boy sang quietly to himself as he walked, seemingly oblivious to the other students around him. Soon enough, they came to a large auditorium, with seating available. He took a quick peek at his invitation, noting that he was Water House.

"Hmm, Water House..." he thought to himself. "Should be interesting. Hope the other Water kids are cool." Richard took a seat, tapping out a drum beat on his chair as he eagerly awaited for orientation to start.

Lulu Kilroy was sitting on her own, bouncing impatiently in her seat. None of the other Fire kids seemed to have showed up yet, possibly due to Lulu's tendency to try and be everywhere early so as to not miss anything. Lulu wasn't happy with this development. She wanted to be with other people who she could talk to. It was part of the whole reason she had come to this school.

Her red shoes scuffed aimlessly against the floor as she impatiently waited for others to arrive.

Jazi made her way to the auditorium, sticking to herself. She was kind of a loner, and social anxiety was her worst enemy. Making friends was not her strength. Despite that, she still walked on. She smiled a a little, seeing the portrait of Lance. Entering the large room, she went off to sit besides the other Dragon house kids. Silent, she peered through her sunglasses to watch the stage. The people were fairly intimidating, but she would get to know these people. She was sure.

As the numerous new students poured into the hall, Thomas could hardly contain his excitement. His mind was a flurry of a mess as he took in the wonderous sights around him. Between the stunning architecture and decor, the aesthetically fixated boy momentarily forgot where he was, only coming back into reality when someone nearly ran into his stationary body. After muttering an apology, Thomas took a deep breath and looked at his letter. According to it, he was to be in the Fire Dorm, which he certainly had mixed feelings about.

Storing the letter in a jacket pocket, he gradually made his way to a seat, remaining silent as he tried to stay focused on the task at hand. After the events he was trying to leave behind by coming here, he had to stay serious, even though every fiber of his being wanted to shamelessly adore the vivid beauty surrounding him.

Gianna was beyond excited about her first day at Newfound Academy. She made her way to the auditorium with pep; this school would greatly improve her battling abilities, and even aid her in achieving her goal of becoming a sky trainer. That information on its own was enough to made her smile. According to the information on the letter she received, Gianna was in the Dragon House. Interesting decision, though she wasn't too sure what it meant.

"I'm just going to follow these guys," she mumbled to herself with an awkward laugh. She then proceeded to follow them inside the auditorium.

Brad stuck out like a sore thumb. The young man was tall, with shiny, wavy black hair. He might have looked older than the others, were it not for the smattering of freckles across his face. His reddish-brown eyes took in the auditorium as he sipped soda from a paper cup, the kind one got from a fast food place. It was supposed to hold soda, but it would be more apt to say it held ice, with a bit of soda between the cracks.

God he hated that.

Anyhow, he stuck out because he was wearing a white tank-top with the 2012 Olympics logo. It showed off his powerful arms, and that tattoo of a Gyarados on his shoulder. He took a sip of his soda, and turned to Richard. He blinked, as if surprised there was someone else there. It took a full second for his eyes to open, then close.

"This is pretty fancy for a culinary arts school." He said. Brad was joking, but it might not have been clear, as he said it a normal tone of voice.

Alma and Animus Celestecuerpo gave each other hugs, even if Animus had to lean over to do so to compensate for his older twin's smaller stature, as they saw they were sorted into different houses. So, after they claimed their luggage, Animus sat down in the Fire House seatings while Alma sat in the Water House seatings, the smaller twin sitting next to Richard.

"Now, what to do?" The twin siblings (though it isn't obvious at first glance) asked as they sat down at their table despite not being near each other to do twin-speak.

"I'm sure you'll be able to speak with him after the introduction ceremony," Abby replied, "Do you want me to go with you? Oh, and there's people starting to flood in now." a comment made as she saw more students walking in. She wasn't sure if they were friendly, but she hoped she wouldn't be stuck with some whack-jobs.

Meanwhile, Luna just continued to nervously sit in her secluded chair. She wasn't the best at making friends, and for her, it seemed easier when people approached her. Why? Simply because she was afraid of intruding or bothering the other person or persons. Her heterochromatic eyes looked for any friendly people coming into the auditorium.

"True," Abby chuckled, "I guess I could go visit dad or something afterwards." she pulled her necklace up to see the wedding ring that was on it. A sad smile spread on her face before she lowered it, gently freeing it from her fingers.

Aria was walking around in excitement, glancing at all the portraits of old famous trainers with amazement. She looked over to her brother, noticing that he was really nervous, especially by the way he held her hand. "Don't worry Zephyr," she reassured comfortably. "It'll be fine, today is the first day of the rest of our lives and all that," she said before looking down at the note saying she had been assigned to the fire house.

Sora looked at the students as they walked in, a serious expression on his face as he observed them all carefully and leaned back on his chair. "I wonder what this year will bring," he muttered to himself.

Richard raised an eyebrow as the person speaking to him. "Uh, are you lost or something?" he asked, though it was highly unlikely considering how remote this place was. "Don't know how you would think this place is a cooking school."

Richard turned towards Alma as the latter spoke up. "Well, I guess until this thing starts, we just... mingle?" He held out a hand to Alma, a friendly smile on his face. "My name's Richard."

"You act like it's going to be easy. We're in separate houses, around a bunch of strangers. For you it's easy, but for me...I'm scared," he told her.

`````````````
"This is your first year here correct?" Phoenix asked Sora.
'Ice House' Daphne reviewed her letter for a moment as she walked into the great hall. She was holding the letter inside her book as she read, eventually making her way to her table and sitting down. She took a couple moments to finish the page she was on before using the letter to mark her page, sliding it back into her bag. Without comment, she slid her glasses off and put them into her bag as well, looking around without her reading glasses on for the first time.
'Water House' Ricky was apparently running a few minutes late. This was not a surprise, he was always late. It was just who he was. Sitting down, he was grinning as he looked around. It appeared his new housemates were at least interested in mingling. They might be up to party later.
The head of Fire House was hanging by the door, taking a few moments to watch his new charges for a few minutes before he would go over to introduce himself. While it was his first year as a teacher, he was not as concerned as one might think. James Dalton knew two things about himself: he was good with people and he knew what to do on the battlefield. The rest would take care of itself.
Struggling to maintain composure, Thomas' curiosity ended up getting the better of him once again, his gaze wandering around the room. After a moment, he noticed Luna sitting all by herself, her eyes exciting his aesthetic mind and therefore only further motivating his decision to make his way over to her, sitting in a seat next to her as he spoke.
"Seems like I'm not the only one who's at a loss for social links here. Mind if I join you?"
"A-Aria!" Zephyr exclaimed to her. Being he had a lot of weight on him, the male ended up tripping, nearly crashing into Luna and just barely regaining his balance, having let go of his sister's hand during the process. "S-sorry..." he apologized, voice barely audible.
It seemed all at once that people were coming over to her. It froze poor Luna in fear. First, was Thomas and then the twins. Of course, Zephyr crashing into her wasn't all that bad as she got to see that he had heterochromatic eyes, much like her own. This was the one thing that brought her mind at ease.
"You have nice eyes," she smiled nervously at Zephyr before looking at Aria and Thomas. "Hello... I didn't intend to have everyone wanting to see me." she chuckled nervously and awkwardly. Social skills were not her strong suit.
Standing from afar, a young woman watched as she students were flooding the auditorium. She had back length, curly white hair and jade eyes. She was wearing a teal dress and matching heels. She was rather nervous for the first day, hoping everything went smoothly. It was her duty as vice headmaster after all.
