Newly found Cloning Method in Platinum?

So I got a copy of Platinum for free from my friend. Since he loved hacking, he messed it up. He would have fixed it for me, but his Action Replay is messed up.
It can't reverse codes.
Now in certain towns it has to save twice. This means, it can't "Save A Lot Of Data" in which it can't keep pokemon in pcs in certain towns.
But in towns where it saves once, I found out that if I go outside of a pokemon center (done in floaroma town), Save, go in, put a pokemon in the pc, save again, and turn the game off and on again, I'll appear outside the Pokemon Center, with the pokemon I put in the pc in my party. when I walk in to the pokemon center and check my pc, it's also in there.

For example.
I saved outside a pokecenter.
I went in, deposited a shinx into the pc.
I saved again. (In this place it does SAVE A LOT OF DATA)
I turned the game off and on.
I appeared outside the pokecenter.
I went in, checked the pc, I had the shinx in the pc and my party.

Has this happened to anyone else?
 
It may be on my game because it's been hacked. No matter what I do with the cartridge, reset game, restart game file, it still has these glitches. :p
 
Didn't work on my JP Plat in Florama town, and on my US Pearl in the same town. It saved a lot of data AND didn't work.

I also took footage of this on my JP plat. Will test on my US SS.

EDIT: Didn't work, but then again, HG/SS doesn't save lots of data.

Gonna test that too. It'd be cool if it work, because it'll be the first cloning method on 4th Gen that doesn't need Wi-Fi (am I right?)

EDIT: tested on Pearl and Platinum. Didn't work on both. :/

Well heres the thing, my platinum is glitched. Due to my friend having his broken actionreplay.
I didn't expect it to work for others.
 
This has a slight air of Urban Legend of Zelda...I don't think an AR can mess up a game THAT much. D:
 
Or take it apart and clean it, or check to be sure the contacts aren't broken due to the AR slot:

The knife method will help you rip open a DS game. Check for contact damage, I once had a yellow that was acting like something out of a creepypasta, but the contacts were damaged once I ripped it apart and looked at it. It also had damage from a sharp object on the shell.
 
Well this cartridge does have some dents in it.
I'm gonna try cleaning it.
Hopefully this will work so I actually want to play platinum!
 
A dent might have damaged something, like a chip or contacts.

They might buy it, but they might not buy it. If they don't, throw it out and get a new copy.

I wish Nintendo made DS games easier to clean, though.
