Ugh, I am so frustrated. I have used Cutenews for a long time, but want to change now due to my forums.

What I want to do it post my news just like in Cutenews, but have the option of changing the "Commenting" links to a myBB forum thread. The only way I can do it in Cutenews is to copy part of the template into my main story and change the link. This is extremely frustrating, especially since when I go to edit the news all of my " " turn into blanks and I have to re-enter them.

Anyone have any advice? I am so tired of looking and testing everything.

You can continue using CuteNews for it.

Grab the XFields hack and install it (search around CutePHP's forums) and set up an xfield with "MyBB Thread Number" and then add that to the template as a <a href="dkjfalsdkj/showthread.php?t=[xfield_name]"> or whatever it is. Something like that. ^^;
