The next arc of the Pokémon animated series, known as Pocket Monsters: Wonder Voyage (Japanese: 「ポケットモンスター ワンダーボヤージュ」 Poketto Monsutā Wandā Boyāju) will debut in Japan starting Friday, May 22nd. The series, known internationally as Pokémon Horizons: The Series, is currently nearing the end of the Rising Again arc.
The new arc “Wonder Voyage” will see the protagonists Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult set on a fresh adventure, joined by a mysterious new girl accompanied by a Ditto. Along with the protagonists' partner Pokémon, the new poster features the legendary Pokémon of the Paldea region: Koraidon, Miraidon, the Treasures of ruin (Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu), Ogerpon, the Loyal Three (Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti), and Pecharunt. While the inclusion of Ditto is likely inspired by Pokémon Pokopia, the poster also includes various visuals inspired by spin-off Pokémon games: A PokéStop from Pokémon GO, a goal zone from Pokémon UNITE, and a Ditto sleeping atop Snorlax's belly reminiscent of Pokémon Sleep.
Internationally, the third season of the series—which includes the Mega Voltage, Episode: Mega Evolution, and Rising Again arcs—is titled “Pokémon Horizons: Season 3—Rising Hope” is being released in the United States and most territories exclusively on Netflix beginning on January 6, 2026. In the United Kingdom, it debuted on October 27, 2025 on BBC iPlayer. In Asia, it debuted on March 6, 2026 on the Pokémon Asia ENG YouTube channel. In Canada, it debuted on March 7, 2026 on Cartoon Network and YTV. In Australia, it debuted on April 2, 2026 on ABC iview.
