Aimed at a MUCH younger audience than even the normal cartoon series, Next Avengers is about the children of the Avengers fighting against, apparently, Ultron. You only get a basic idea of the plot from the trailer, but you get a good look at the kids, and you find out (more or less) who their parents are. I BELIEVE this is getting released either before or after the Hulk animated movie.

So they really went with this instead of Young Avengers . . .

Don't you love how Hawkeye and Vision apparently went off and died alone?

They look like they're 7-8. I wouldn't trust them to tie their shoes, much less save the world. It's like the Power Pack are cosplaying as the Avengers. I seriously thought that was Jack and Alex power in Captain America and Hawkeye suits.

See, a kid-centric Power Pack movie/series wouldn't be a bad idea. This? Marvel's further attempts at making Avengers as big a name/property as X-Men.

Power Pack would have been better. The goggles. THEY DO NOTHING! Man. That was...perversely intriquing. And ya I love how Vision and Hawkeye died alone. No Scarlet Witch and Mockingbird forthose two, huh?

yes, i geuss they would seeing as that a story about a (former) drug user(patriot), a former rape victim (hawkeye) and a gay wizard/alien couple (wican/hulking. would go down so fell with the youngsters of today. not to mention a anarchist speedster and the giant girl who falls in love with a robot.

but this just looks stupid as hell

well i can't be anyworse than the old avengers tv series *shuders* god that was terrible

The Avengers cartoon, or the British TV series known as the Avengers?

I'm sure we haven't seen a Power Pack project because they don't have "Brand Name Recognition" or whatever.

Iron Man too, apparently. He was mentioned, but only briefly. Sad thing is, I'll probably watch this. At least rent it from Blockbuster when I'm bored, or when it's on T.V.

Actually, you can see him when "Ultron attacks." Where he randomly reappears.

i'll watch it but i'll either put it on the tesco dvd list or wait for somebody to upload it to youtube

I feel a little indignant at teh quality of the trailer. Looks like the old 60's spidey cartoon with those "caardboard cut out" movements.

I seriously despair at eh amount of missed opportunities to animate marvels licenses, this could be an interesting (if not particularly exciting) filler project between the movies etc.
