Hello.Have anyone watched Discovery Science ? And especialy the show "Next World" ? This show is all about the future of technologies. It is realy exciting.
So... Can you guys write something about future machines to discus if they are possible to happen or not.
Just like Amphibia cars.It was "imposible" to happen in the past, but now it realy exsists.

OK.I'll start...
Is it possible for humens to become "robots" I mean to comunicate without moving our lips. There was a devise that captures the impulses the brain sends to our mouth and transports them to the humen that has the same type of device in front of us.
We know that there are already robots that helps humens lift extremely high weight and run faster and so... Is it possible those robots to become part of our everyday life ?

That's cybernetics, and it's possible.

I won't write my ideas here (too much), but in my fanfic, which takes place in 2192, does have them.

Um, a pokemon game that is in fact Virtual reality and puts us directly in the game.

A network system akin to Tom Clancy's Net Force.

Being able to have a device that like a star trek tricorder that gave you readouts based on what was scanned with it. I suppose that could be possible in someway. W already have items that scan things, x-rays, cat scans, bar code readers etc... working on technology like that could make these more plausable.

And did anyone know that erasable paper exists? Xerox made paper that erases itself after 24 hours of printing on it.

A datacube like in game Deus Ex being real... it could happen, don't see the point of it really, but given touch screens and whatnot, for what a datacube does store, an image or just some text, or both, you could just have the cube with a USB port and store the information on it and be able to access it when you press a button on it.

Paper batteries with carbon nanotubes should be arriving within a decade or two.

Speaking of Star Trek, I want a food replicator. No more cooking?! Anything I want?! Yes please!

Yes about that.......
I don't think this is possible for now.We Humens like a civilization are not that smart yet to "Get something from nothing".We may be ahead with technology so much, but without filling the machine first we wont get anything.
