With the other tournament under the BBL coming to a close, I've decided to start up a new one that allows ubers. Unfortunately, I can't participate myself since I probably won't have time to EV train my ubers, so I'm sitting out.

Prizes: The prizes will consist of some of the BBL's ace Pokemon with egg moves, natures, 5 IVs, and all that stuff.
1st: Shellder
2nd: Bulbasaur
3rd: Espurr
Lottery prize: Ralts (All participants have a chance of winning this through random drawings)

This tournament will follow Smogon format and will allow usage of Pokemon in the uber tiers, meaning you can use any Pokemon from NU to uber.

Rules:
All teams must consist of 6 Pokemon with no changes being made to it throughout the tournament.
Mega Blaziken, Mega Lucario, Mega Gengar, Mega Kangaskhan, and Mega Mewtwo X/Y are allowed.
Mega Latios, Mega Latias, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, and any other currently non-public Pokemon are banned.
Item Clause: No duplicates of items can be used.
Sleep Clause: No more than one Pokemon can be put to sleep on a team, barring self-induced sleep.
Species Clause: No usage of more than one of a Pokemon species.
Evasion Clause: No usage of things like Double Team, Minimize, Flash, Brightpowder, (etc.).
OHKO Clause: No OHKO moves.
Banned Abilities: Moody
Banned Moves: Swagger
Para-flinching banned.
A battle video MUST be saved and posted on this thread within 24 hours after the battle for purposes of proving victories and losses in the tournament.
Battles must be completed within 2 weeks after the start of a round or a random winner will be picked.
Disconnected battles are to be redone if both parties agree. Any issues regarding disconnected battles can be brought to me.

These rules are subject to change whenever. Failure to follow these rules WILL result in a disqualification.

Without further ado, best of luck to all and remember that it takes more than just a team full of ubers to win.

I will see if I can get the best battles of each round uploaded on the BBL channel. Hard to say because I don't have personal access to it. No promises on anything.

Tournament officially starts April 30th.

I'd like to submit a tentative sign up. I will participate if I can come up with a Ubers viable team, but if not I'll have to decline. As for the youtube issue as long as you make them I'll post them.
 
I'll join under one condition. Battles must happen on Pokemon ShowDown.
 
Even though I don't like using legends, I'm still up for some good battles: sign me up... If this tourney is using the 'normal rules' (set to Lv. 50.) format.

I believe they will be taking place over 3DS as he mentions battle videos. You should read the OP to gather information before posting.

I did read the OP. I just said that this should take place on a Simulator so that the competitors don't have to ruin their in-game legendaries.

Commanding does not equal suggesting, but as for your point of ruining legends Pokegen is a thing. I'll probably be getting my legends like that.

EDIT: If Dragoons chill with that.
 
I'll see what I can do about that. I normally don't mind PS, but not everybody has a PS, which is the problem. For now, I'm thinking of not allowing PS because the team on PS must be the exact same as the team used on 3DS, which is problematic when one needs to alternate for battles. To keep consistency, I don't think PS should be used, but I'll try thinking of something.

I also don't really mind Pokegen as long as everything's legal, like movesets, abilities, stats, and all that stuff.

If someone has access to the internet, they have access to PS. Therefore everyone has PS. It evens out the playing field and doesn't force players to hack in Legends.
 
It's only hacking if your riding around on your moral high horse. There's no legit way to get good 5-6 IV legends, so as long as they're legal they're legal.
 
Sorry guys I got clinicals for two weeks to complete my Certified Nursing Assistant training, so I think I'm going to sit this one out until further notice.
 
Surprisingly, id like to join. I missed the last one and im a noob when it comes to Ubers so I want to give it a shot. I see the point of playing it on Showdown but its actually easy to get Pokemon on-cart. Pokegen is popular now and its not like your gonna get a Giratina using STAB-Judgment through anyway.

If PS is something that more people want, even if they dont have one, its extremely easy to make one. I use Showdown on my Xbox One now actually (big screen ftw). It should be consistent however, and not jump from on-cart to PS.
 
I'm too lazy and cheap to renew my Bank subscription since I got pretty much everything I wanted during my 30 day free trial, so I won't be able to join unless it's on showdown but I'd be happy to if it is. TBH I think Ubers tourneys in general should be held on PS! to discourage hacking but w/e~

Also - noticed that you've got Swagger banned, but iirc Swagger is legal in Ubers. It was banned to Ubers from OU and below.
 
Yeah, I know. I just wanted to take out Swagger because of the luck game it brings with Foul Play.

I would like to join the tournament.

I prefer to do the battles on 3DS, so if it has to be on simulator I won't be able to join. If it's on 3DS, count me in! ;)
