Do any of you know if Wind-stream is compatible with the DS' Wireless Communications? And if so, how can I get it to pick it up?

I can't find anything through an internet search either.

It should work, as long as you have no WPA on your router. If you have a 3ds/dsi and a DSi enhanced game (BW), then you can use WPA for those games ONLY.

Is their anyway to take that WPA Code off the router? I know it has one, it's on the bottom of the router and to access the internet on any system (my laptop, or my PS3 for example) we have to enter it, as far as I know. I really kind of hope that this doesn't screw over my ability to trade internationally, as well as my ability to go to the dream world. >:

1. Which console do you have?
2. What router do you have? Just jump into the config (usually 192.168.1.1) and enter the default pass, then change the key to WEP or off.

My ISP is also Windstream, and I have successfully connected my DS and Wii to the Internet.

Beware of Windstream's tainted DNS servers — the default DNS servers redirect NXDOMAIN to a search page with advertisements. Use these instead:
166.102.165.32
207.91.5.32
I had to change them at the router level.
