Nintendo E3 - Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid (something) R, Golden Sun DS

Those were the big 3 announcements. The Metroid game is a collaboration between Nintendo and Team Ninja.

Also revealed was New Super Mario Bros on the Wii, which sadly looks IDENTICAL to the DS one with 4 play support.

Outside of that, casual crap. And a vitality sensor... possibly the dumbest thing I've seen outside of MS' Natal thing yesterday.

And no, no mention of anything Pokemon.

I was sort of rolling my eyes at SMG2, until it showed YOSHI, back with the full functionality of his Super Mario World days. I squealed like a little girl.

This runs circles around Nintendo's showings at e3 2008. I have to wonder how the Vitality Sensor will be applied to games, and if any third party developers outside of casual ones will even bother.

I'm surprised they said nothing about Sin and Punishment 2, since apparently they set up a booth on the floor for that game.

Yeah. I mean a natural feeling feeling archery thing is freaking great. And the basketball is whoa. These looked more then those training sessions so I cannot wait to see what else they go. Is tennis in or no? I missed it a bit.

Samus probably won't have boob physics because the Zero suit is probably very restricting

And the vitality thingy... don't even bother trying to figure out how games can use it, because there aren't any. It's just a silly add-on for the fitness aspect of the Wii.

Nintendo is defiantly making up for last year's snooze-fest. This proves that Nintendo isn't deaf to criticism.

Still, vitality sensor is a piece of crap. That device is only created to eat the money of Wii casual gamers and nothing more.

Surprised that there was no updates of Pikmin 3, Sin and Punishment 2, or an international release date for Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver (even a new Pokémon Wii would have been fine. It's time to release a "real" Pokémon game for the Wii Nintendo. Battle Revolution was released in 2007 and it sucked. It's time for another Pokémon Wii that is actually good).

Still, the good news is that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is on the way.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 with a focus on Mario and Yoshi teaming up has me sold. It looks like Yoshi has a bunch of new abilities like tongue grappling and inflating.

Golden Sun 3 was announced for the DS.

Metroid: Another M is an action-style Devil May Cry Ninja Gaiden Metroid game that looks badass. You get to hold Ripley down and shove the goddamn cannon up his mouth and fire at point blank range.

Great showing from Nintendo this year, but I wonder what's happened to Pikmin 3?

The demo showed Toad and a yellow Toad. Would have perfer Yoshi or maybe even Donkey Kong, but it's still good news.

Rosalina's become one of my favorite characters in the series. Hopefully SMG2 will clarify the hints that she's Peach's great-great-great aunt.

Meh I don't know about that but yeah greatest character yet. I want her to return to see if they found there new home or such. Things shall develop a bit which is a first for Mario. He has to get into space somehow and remeber what happened. Cannot wait.
