Nintendo of Europe announces European PokéPark Wii release date: 'PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's ...

Nintendo of Europe revealed the release date for the new Wii game, PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure. The game will be released on July 9 on European WiiWare. The game was released December 5, 2009 in Japan and is expected to be released this June in Australia. The North American release date of the game is currently unknown.

Kind of sounds like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon only starring Pikachu. I wonder what benefits to owners of Gen 4 games this will have.

Judging from the Japanese version, none.

Sad but true. I hope Gen V offers significantly better console games than Gen IV has.

Yeah. Gen IV had just lame spinoffs on the console. PBR was the only main console series game, and when hgss and plat came out, it was outdated.

Can't say that this will be an addition to my gaming collection seeing as it offers very little other than mini games by the looks of it. The battling portion looks quite nice, but it doesn't look like a worthy purchase for me.

Like others have said, I hope that Gen V makes a significantly better effort with console games than Gen IV has mustered. After PBR (which I found lacklustre), we've only had Pokepark Wii and a couple of WiiWare titles which is below-par given the standards set by previous generations.
