I grew up with Nintendo Power, and I remember when I started reading it around early 2004, but then after a while it completely changed, and it kind of felt like I was reading a different magazine than when I first started reading it. It's sad to see it go, now all that's left is the incredibly biased GameInformer, which I have a particular dislike of.

Nintendo Power died largely because a lot of media magazines are dying at the moment. The nature of the Internet makes a lot of them irrelevant. Even Gameinformer is likely to go by the wayside eventually.
At any rate the magazine stopped making sense after 2003 so I quit buying it.
