Nintendo Press Release, Confusion about new Pokemon Game

The latest press release from Nintendo of America has caused confusion as to titles coming to the 3DS. This is the confusing-causing paragraph:

With a strong lineup of software on the horizon, including new installments in the Mario Party™, Pokémon™ and Kid Icarus™ franchises, as well as third-party games such as Resident Evil® Revelations from Capcom and METAL GEAR SOLID® 3D Snake Eater from Konami for Nintendo 3DS, that momentum should continue into the first quarter of 2012 and beyond.

It doesn't state what system its being released on. The press release was about the 3DS, so that's why some people believe its a new 3DS game, but others believe ti to just be the new Pokepark being released in the US soon. The paragraph doesn't really specifically say what system its going to be for.
 
Common sense dictates that Nintendo of America would not be referring to games that haven't even been announced for Japan yet.
 
They're obviously referring to Pokemon Gray. Duh.

In all seriousness, is anyone here looking forward to Pokepark 2?

Please. This is an American press release about Nintendo's state of affairs in the US, and the paragraph in question mainly refers to Spring releases.

They didn't say that the game alone would take the world by storm; it's just one of several games released in the US this year, or more specifically in the first quarter. As far as Pokémon is concerned, it may be the only game to see international release by the end of 2012, unless Nobunaga's Ambition is localized.

I read your post as saying that Nintendo wouldn't make such a big deal about PokéPark 2. But I don't think you should have used sarcasm considering the media did originally interpret the statement as being about an unannounced 3DS game.
 
Apparently, they were talking about future 3DS games. Thats how I see it at least. Something tells me the next main series Pokemon game is going to be released on 3DS.
CANT WAIT!
 
They're actually talking about Mario Party 9 and Pokepark 2 for they have yet to have an announced 3DS game for 2012.
 
I knew they were talking about Poke Pal 2, but Mario Party 9 will be out sooner or later. And any regards about Pkmn Gray is false right now as since there has been no official release, but pokemongray.com has been taken by the same publishers as pokemon black and white. Along with the facts that they release a 3rd game with every generation, and they release around the same time period as the others. We will wait and see I guess.
 
If it is about Pokemon Grey, Id be extremely satisfied because Nobunaga's Ambition's gameplay doesnt really seem interesting to me. Also, Corocoro magazine were mention alot about Kuyrem and the 15th Pokemon Movie. Hint Hint?
