Well we can all hope I suppose. Who knows what this actually means. Knowing Nintendo, it'll be a really big anti-climax. Probably some new, little, hand-held Pokémon game that mystically connects to some special internet of some sort.

Or something.

I hope Pokemon gets an online game for Gamecube!


I will be one of the first to buy that kind of game!

That's right, it was created in May 2001 and expires at the end of May this year.

So I hate to say it, but this doesn't look like it's anything much at all. Probably just Nintendo trying to take domains that they think other people might try and get their hands on. Or maybe they had plans for it, but don't anymore.

Either way, there's nothing at www.pokemon-online.jp and chances are that there never will be.

Couldn't possibly... HMMM... An online pokémon game could really boost gamecube sales, and Nintendo know it. But they don't seem to love the internet like Sony and Microsoft do.

If only it could be true. ;; We could have 'crews' and walk about going "omg ur crew is teh sux0r!11 piakchu thundashokz" and stuff. :)
 
An online game would be good,but that site might just be registered for reasons unknow,or just to keep a 'tag' on just incase like someone has said.Don't know why but the site sounds like a Pokemon online store to me.
 
Nintendo is always so secretive. Why can't they just say Pokemon online is being made and stop us from guessing. :(
 
you know I bet it was a test site for either the new japanese pokemon site www.pokemon.co.jp or for the store www.pokemoncenter-online.com. If nintendo would do anything that could potentially reveal a new game unintenionally they send out many decoys. For example nintendo copyrighted several different names to cover up the 3rd complaition to the Ruby and sapphire series.
 
It might be for one of those reasons.

Maybe we should look up something else. Who is Hitomi Mitsuru?
 
Considering the perceived age demographic for an online Pokemon game, I hope if it happens that payment options are easily accessible. The major thing that's been stopping me from jumping on the online console bandwagon is that I don't have a credit card, and can't afford one any time soon.
 
It might be a Pokemon RPG online, that'll be good :)
or mayb a Decoy (I'd be pissed if tat happened)

Pretty much redundant at this point. Why use this when we've got Netbattle? Nintendo should have thought of this sooner.
