Nintendo Road Trip Writing Help

Welcome to Nintendo Road Trip! This fanfic is where Nintendo Characters go on a road trip to various real and fictional places throughout the fic. When the fic gets finished, I'll probably do a year-by-year edition of it. I know that this fic will include all of the famous Nintendo characters in the world! If you could list some Nintendo characters for me, I'll put them in this post. Now, the only way I can write this fic (or any fic for that matter) is if you reply with comments and suggestions for the story. With all the pleasantries out of the way, I'll go on to introduce the characters that I remember.

About the "writing help" thing...

When you ask me to put the actual fic in another thread, what exactly do you mean? By the way, I apologize for the offending threads earlier. This is my first fic that will go in another thread. Please don't be too harsh on me since this is my first fic and all... If you could please help me out, I'd really appreciate it! Like if you can tell me where I need to improve and what I need to do to make this crossover a success, that would be great!

OK thanks. By the way, even though this fic is called Nintendo Road Trip, it's going to be a crossover between Nintendo characters and Anime Characters. If you could give me some tips on what to do and what not to do when writing this, that'd be great.

Which anime characters do you plan to use? It would help us if we knew a little about your plot and what you wanted to write about.

OK, the first thing you want to know is that I plan to use anime characters from Pokemon. The plot is Nintendo and Anime characters go on a road trip to real-world and fictional places, and there they cause mayhem/create chaos. My fic starts off with the Nintendo and Anime characters waking up and preparing for the road trip in the following order:

Wake Up
Breakfast
Brush Teeth
Deodorant
Fix Hair
Face Medicine
Get Clothes On (yes, that includes shoes and socks)
Pack Suitcases
Pack Trunk of Car with Suitcases

The events in this fan-made fiction happen in the Morning-Day-Night Cycle from Gold and Silver for the first set of ten chapters, then follow the cycle of Morning-Day-Afternoon-Evening-Night Cycle from Diamond and Pearl for the rest of the fiction, except in chapters designated as special chapters, in which case the time cycle will return to the Gold and Silver's cycle of Morning-Day-Night for the duration of the special chapter and 20 chapters after the airing of the special chapter. Afterwards, it returns to the Diamond and Pearl Cycle of time.

The list above will be imported in the Prologue Chapter, except it will show a time before it.

The Prologue will be using the Gold/Silver way of telling time of day, as well as the ten chapters following it. You can tell if I'm airing a special when you see the word "special" written in capital letters with an exclamation point. It will appear to be something like this:

SPECIAL!

By the way... in case you don't know, the time will look like the following for the first ten chapters and during each Special Chapter and the 20 chapters following the showing of said Special Chapter:

DAY 12:00 SUNDAY

The time will show up like this if (A It's not a special chapter, (B it's not any of the first ten chapters following the prologue, or (C it's not any of the 20 chapters that follow the special chapter.

These are just examples of how the time will appear. For the second example, that's just how I guess the time and date would appear in Diamond and Pearl.

In the prologue, I want to write about characters waking up and starting their day to how I usually start it.

Waking up and starting the day is fine, but don't go too overboard in the little details. The fic won't really get off the ground until the actual road trip starts and the characters interact with each other. The potential for comedy is huge.

OK, how can I write the prologue of them starting the day and without going overboard with the details? If you'll note, this fic uses two methods of timekeeping switching back and forth between the two. The methods of timekeeping are the Gold/Silver/Crystal Time Keeping method and my guess of the Diamond and Pearl method of Time Keeping.

This:

SATURDAY DAY 10:00

May look like this in a future episode:

10:00 AM
Time of Day: Day
9/11/01

This is still my guess of how the timekeeping system will turn out in Diamond and Pearl, since I haven't played it yet.

You'll never see this:

SATURDAY DAY 10:00

...unless this is the prologue, the 10 chapters following the prologue, or a special episode. If the latter is true, the Gold/Silver/Crystal Time Keeping method will be used for twenty chapters!
