No Pokémon Toys At McDonalds This Summer?

For the past two years, Pokémon Happy Meal Toys and Cards have been distributed at McDonalds in North America every June since 2011. The first distribution was June 17, 2011 - July 7, 2011, and the second distribution was June 15, 2012 - July 5, 2012. This year however, McDonalds will be distributing Hot Wheels and Twinkle Toes toys June to July. Could this mean that McDonalds has stopped Pokémon distributions completely, or are they just delaying them?

I remember rushing to McDonald's to get like three Happy Meals. X3 I think I got a Dewott, a Zorua, and a Pikachu.

Anyway. I don't know if they're delaying it, because remember, McDonald's in America didn't distribute Pokemon toys until 2011. That's a long time since they released the Happy Meal...I remember there were lots of Pokemon toys at Burger King in my day, so during that long time that Pokemon toys weren't in Happy Meals, maybe the franchise "belonged" to Burger King? This could be happening again, maybe? Maybe BK has ownership over Pokemon again.

That would be such a bad business decision by TPCi if they chose to go back to Burger King. McDonalds is renowned for their Happy Meals and the quality of their toys is so much better than Burger King.

I've managed to get every toy and card distributed at McDonalds since 2011. I was hoping for the 2013 toys, it would be feature Serperior, Emboar, Samurott, Kyurem and it's Formes.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they're just taking a break. Since X and Y is coming out in the fall, they may just decide to go with that as an autumn promotion. But then again, who really knows.

I didn't consider that. It's just a shame they didn't finish the starter's evolution line.
 
Yeah...or at least show just one evolution... But still-Sky Battles!
