Since the TPCI merger happened, will this mean Americans are getting the shaft too? Or just the Euro releases?

Also, what EU legislation was this? I'm intrigued.

Well it talks about a european legislation so probably just Europeans. And i think it has to do with the Germans and their game ruining fun. Seriously they want to stop all development of violent games in their country.

I think you should edit the title of the thread since it's misleading and I thought the slot machines weren't going to be in any version of it.

That really sucks for Europe and the other Pal regions(if they get the ban as well). Does that mean the new action feature that will be in the future 5th gen game will be banned as well?

The action game i think is that WiiWare game. And yes it is ridiculous. Also what strikes me really odd though is how the European Nintendo already knows about this. They usually find out after Japanese release do they not?
 
No,not the WiiWare game. I'm talking about the action element Masuda is wanting to add in future games. It could be banned in Europe if it's "violent" enough. >>

If they ban the new WiiWare game..that would just suck and it would suck even more if the action feature in future games ends up pretty important then banning it. Actually,it sucks period that they're banning stuff.
 
Eff yeah thank god for importing if that happens.
 
This is why I fucking hate censorship. They ruined Platinum's Game Corner by taking out the slot machines in that.

I guess I'm importing future Pokémon games from now on.

EDIT: By the way, don't worry about action getting future Pokémon games banned. We've got plenty of action games still avaliable

And all because there's been quite many school shootings there in recent years.
Instead of looking for the roots why he did the school shooting (the most recent one for example had a father who had a passion with weapons and wasn't afraid to teach his son how to handle them) they blame it on violent video games.

The slots were always the high point of the series. But as the title says 'For Europe', it sounds like you guys think it's humorous that the slots are being taken out.

Soon Japan will be the only country with the slots.....lucky jappies, taking all the slots...
 
It's official.
I'm playing the US version, although I like in Europe.
Not to mention that I want to play it before Darth Vader comes to earth.
 
I've always hated EU!

Okay... not always. As a tyke I wanted Poland to join EU (or whatever was it called back then) because I wanted there to be Polish description on foreign products... But I had really no idea what politics are back then.

But since I'm into politics (which means, for quite some time) I HATE EU seriously. And I'll ALWAYS hate it!

I've always known that EU is devil and I'll never change my mind. Now I have the PROOF that EU is evil.

Twenty years ago, we destroyed the evil Communist block, with the devil USSR on its lead. We did it because we UNITED. Why can't we do this again? Let's unite one more time and destroy even bigger evil - the motherfuckin' EU! We can do it if we stick together!

Let the WIND OF FAIL CHANGE blow again!

For the sake of our beloved slots! Let's free the video games!
