This is a most amazing thing that I've seen today. While looking through news sites(I do this rarely), I found that a man living in Alabama has basically locked himself in his house and will not come out until he has counted to One Million. This may sound crazy, but he and two friends have set up a recording system, live video and audio(with delay for editing of accidental events), to broadcast this feat on the official site: www.millioncount.com He is counting to One Million to raise money for a charity organization called Push America, created to help the handicapped population of the U.S.A. So far, he is 50 days into the count, has reached 549,000, and has raised about $6,000 in donations for the cause. The live feed is maintained constantly, and he must rely on friends, family, and of course, his patient girlfriend to help him continue the count. This count is funded solely on Messages, which are purchased for 5 dollars, and a scrolling loop of 5 Messages are played at a time. ALL donations through the donation page and all donations by companies, corporations, and businesses go straight to the P.A. fund.
Even if you watch for a few minutes, or stay with this man through the rest of the count. If you just watch, or donate to help. Please at least keep this person in mind, as he is doing an extraordinary thing for an extraordinary cause, and is doing it selflessly.
