Hello, I'm from Philadelphia and I've been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue. This is the first video game forum I've ever joined. I'm probably a little older then your average player.

I do have a question about something that I'm getting conflicting opinions on. Are Action Replay Pokemon able to be traded via the GTS? I put a Level 1, received from day-care, Spiritomb up for a Reshiram. I received a Level 55, from N's Castle, Reshiram. It was caught at level 50. In an Ultra Ball. Not a Cherish Ball. The OT's name is Event and has the ID# 32987. It came holding an Experience Share. Usually if something is too good to be true, it is.

I didn't even mean for the trade to go through. Who would make that trade? I was finishing up Emerald, for the third time, getting someone to trade for Reshiram. There’s no way this Reshiram is real, right? Sorry to just jump in and ask questions. I’m going to look for the Dream World section and start asking questions there. Thanks for any help.
 
They can, but not if they're EXTREMELY obvious... Yeah, that thing's hacked ^_^;

The Reshiram was most likely a hack, or someone has the OT Event lol.

Welcome to the forums, though. No, action replay Pokemon like hacked Arceus for example would be banned to be traded on the GTS, whether that's on the DS game or the Wii game. I'll check one day in the future. As long as the Pokemon are in the correct ball, they're supposed to be then it's not hacked and if everyone is saying they're supposed to be in a Cherish Ball and not regularly caught like a regular wild Pokemon, then I guess they're supposed to be caught in a Cherish Ball and you can't fake it either.

Reshiram in Emerald? If I remember correctly, Emerald is still a Hoenn game and Reshiram sounds like a Sinnoh Pokemon. I'll check that out because if it's not in the guidebook for either of Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, then it doesn't seem real to me as well.

On the Action Replay issue one member suggested that I do a check through some program. I'll give this a try and let everyone know.

I'm still feeling my way around the sight but so far it's great. Over the past few years I would use Bulbapedia all the time. It was only a matter of time before I joind the forums.

I really do appreciate everyone's input.
