You may remember an episode of Norm with a special "pokemon" opening in 1999. I'd like to start a page (I don't believe there is one), but I am not sure where to put it. Any ideas?
 
Find the title of the episode. Then name the article Episode Title (Norm).

If anyone has a better method/idea, please speak up.
 
Norm was a TV show that used to air on ABC.

The main character of the show was played by a guy named Norm McDonald.


There was an episode of this show, where they had an awesome parody of the Pokemon anime!! ^_^

They had this kid who cosplayed as Ash (saying that his name was now Ash, instead of his name on the show). He and Norm were both Pokemon trainers, in this parody. There were Pokemon in this too (but they were just people inside Pokemon body suits, of course).

Also, Jessie, James, and Meowth made appearences too. XD


Oh, and Pikachu's electricity looked real! So this parody had cool special effects!

The backgrounds when Ash and Norm throw a Pokeball, actually look like the "colorful" backgrounds used in the Pokemon anime! ^_^

Oh, ok. And if you're wondering why I've never heard of this show, and why I don't watch ABC, it's because I live in Australia (we do have a channel called the ABC, but it's kinda more like your PBS)
 
Also, it's the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, instead of American Broadcasting Company.

Yes, quite true, but we're getting off topic. Maybe we should just have a single article listing pokemon parodies. Think South Park, the Simpsons, and I'm sure there's a million others I either don't know or can't think of right now...
 
Actually, I think you listed most of them....

And of course, there's the 2 (or perhaps 3?) Pokemon parodies they've had on Robot Chicken. ^^
 
Drawn Together should get on there then. Ling-Ling, square Pokeballs and Ash, before he gets mauled.
 
Keep in mind that the Norm episode was "official" (though not canon, perhaps even within the "Norm" show), which I believe gives it special status.
