Kim is getting unnecessarily out of control. He is actually becoming more of a senile old fool that is just a thorn in the world's thigh.

Would anyone wish to say anything?

I just hope that the UN and Obama's response isn't another strongly worded letter. I think we've established that time-outs don't work, N. Korea needs a spanking.

I'd like to warn North Korea that we threaten to harm them if U.S. is attacked.

Understand that we are dealing with communists here, and has history ever said anything about communists with acute hearing?

no. But it's stupid really. We aren't going to attack them. This isn't Dr. Strangelove. I'd be happy if we just ignored them, since we don't have really anything to do with them.

N. Korea is asking for a fight. They want one. They, like other communist powers, want to control more than what they have. And I just want us all to get along. Seriously, is that too much to ask?

We don't have to attack them or anything. Just show them that we do mean business. I liked Reagan's approach, aim missiles in the direction of North Korea with the names of cities labled. Something like that. They will take advantage of us if we are weak.

Peace is never too much to ask. Never.

Threats aren't going to help. That particular strategy was used in the Cold War and I believe that didn't go to well. Pointing missiles at each other is just going to make everyone even more tense. I live on the West Coast, 6o miles from Seattle. You can bet I'm scared of N. Korea attacking us. But we don't need to be Tony Stark.

"I believe the best weapon is the one you have to fire once. That's how Dad did it, that's how America does it... and it's worked out pretty well so far."

We all know what happens next.

Is it also safe to say that America definitely has no attitude whatsoever toward any country? (No balls!?)

What do you mean? We got mad at France when they refused to help us in Iraq. We're tearing up the middle east and destroying more of it than the terrorists.

I'd say we have an attitude towards countries. Just not a good one.

It seems we're more worried about our president killing flies and who broke up with who and which guy is the father and whatnot.

We try to be the police of the world, but when our own country is so apathetic towards politics and disinterested in what's going on in general, we tend to f*ck everything up.

It's sad, but true.

That's it, I'm moving to Canada.

lol Americans always complain about Canadians. Well I say, what has Canada done wrong that we haven't?

I'm sure you know perfectly well who's the leader of North Korea, do you? If you do that, he'd take it as a threat, not a warning, and then he'd probably be launching missles at us. And that's the last thing we need.

Sanctions aren't working
Letters saying "Stop" aren't working
Talks haven't been working for years

What else is there?! They won't respond to it, so if they threaten to harm us and their neighbor, it's high time the U.S. puts it's forces on alert in the Pacific, their Korean Division and Japan. If they launch a missile, then the North Koreans are toast. I also think it's high time China steps in as well.

What else is there? How about not threatening them. That would get them to be quiet. Or maybe, just not stationing so many people around there.

And if we decide to flaunt our world penis(so to speak), then I'm pretty sure some other countries with some less crazy leaders would jump at that opportunity(Iran).

So let them win, basically. That plan has never worked, look at Hitler and Nevile Chamberlain.

Jump at what opportunity? What would they do with the non-existant opportunity?

Yes, let them win. If it means not having a nuclear war, then so be it. I would prefer to swallow my pride than swallow a warhead.

Perhaps I should elaborate on that second point. If we were to show too much muscle and add more troops to North Korea, than somehow for some reason the man who won the Iran elections(I can't be bothered to remember his name right now) would rally support agains the U.S saying something along the lines of 'We can't let the U.S muscle around any more countries any longer. Let's wipe them off the planet to protect our rights!" More support would mean more research which would mean a higher chance of wiping us off the Earth.

I personally think we should warn them before we have another Cold War like period.

It sounds to me the die has already been cast. We must be ready to defend ourselves, because I feel there is nothing that we can do that won't be interpreted as a chance to strike. If we back off, they laugh in our face and get away with murder. If we act, then we will have war. We do nothing, then we delay the inevitable, which is admittedly the same as backing off. What do I suggest, then? Let them come. We shall be ready.
