I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but is there a way to change the date format? I naturally use DD/MM/YYYY, but here it is in MM/DD/YYYY, which confuses me greatly. For example a date 08-09-2008, i thought it was 8th September 2008, (not really, just an example) but it is actually 9th August 2008. I was wondering if i could change my date format to make it less confusing?

Sorry to bring this back, but can we please make this an option? This is really bugging me. For example 12-9-2008, i immediately think of that as 12th September 2008, when it's really 9th December. This can be really confusing.
