Notification Control Panel

I know it's all too early and stuff, but I think this'll come in handy for users.

Is it possible to implement a control panel that allows you to "switch certain notifications off?" For example, I just got a notification of someone quoting a post of mine. I got annoyed. ^^; But with this idea, I can simply switch it off, and be on my way~! *Cough* And also works with the Twitter thing. Turn that thing off too! *Cough*

Same issue as mine, only I've had it since the test forums were up, and I got two of them that led me to the groups section when I don't remember doing jack there. And it wouldn't even tell me what the hell got me said notifications. It was a pain up the ass.

If it's not already in your user CP, such a thing is not possible as far as we are aware. If you find an addon which would do it, let us know.
