I went to the beach yesterday with my family and on the way I saw a sign for a place called Secretary, so I got to thinking, there's probably a whole bunch of towns out there with weird names. So does anyone know of any?

A few others (besides Secretary, Maryland) that I have heard of are:
Accident, Maryland
Christmas, Florida
Newport News, Virginia
and of course, who could forget, Intercourse, Pennsylvania

I heard this one on SportsCenter this morning:

Surpise, Arizona. ^^

Truth or Consequences, I forget the state.

Double Trouble, New Jersey. Hmm, wonder if the Team Rocekt hideout is there now XD

I can't believe no one's mentioned 'Dildo, Newfoundland' yet. >3

There's also towns named Picnic, Celebration, Cadillac, and Frostproof in Florida. There's also Normal, Il.

George, Washington
Lol. I thought they would've renamed Washington to 'Bush' after seeing that. :P

And I can only think of one at the moment, but I don't know if you'd count it.

Seaham, Australia.

There's a Strawberry in some state, I forgot which. The name's not too weird, but I think it's cute.

No; it's here in Neenah, where our high-school sports teams for every sport are called the Rockets and have red & white for team colors. :D

Here's one that's strange for reaons you will understand once you see it: Oconomonowoc, WI.(a bit of a mouthful to say...who needs actual words for a place name to be weird? :P) There's also a Dodgeville here in Wisconsin, which I find funny mostly because of Pokemopolis.

I just remembered there's a Mayo in Maryland, and also somewhere by the Wye River here (pronounced "why") there's a place called Wye Knot (I think it's a farm or something).

Edit: and apparently Walla Walla, Washington really exists.

Here's a list of them. Some pretty good ones on there too. XD Can you imagine living in No Name, Colorado?! "What town to you live in?" "No Name."
